hey. can dun post such post when my piston just seize two times in a row. *hair stand.

 

Old video. The piston drove through the tank because it doesn't have a kevlar layer between the tank and engine as required.

 

DID YOU KNOW HIS LEFT HAND WAS SEVERED BY THE PISTON?

hi guys im back!!! lol! dono u all still rmb me anot... rode an 05 rs125 for a year then sold off le.. now wanna buy a newer 08 version of rs125.. trying to sell my car now... anyone wanna buy? hyundai getz 1.6m 2006 registered quite some modds and nice sound system full set... sporty look red colour! $25k! super cheap! coe left 6.8yrs liddat..

 

anyone selling their aprilia can let me know? i wan no accident and good conditioned de :) can full cash :)

 

sigh miss riding bike man.. regret to sell awy my rs125 to buy a car... hmph!! biggest regret of my life... now so hard to find a condition good one lo...

 

anyway i jus wanna ask... if i buy a bad condition bike... i wanna buy le then straigth awy do full overhaul of engine and gearbox how much ah? roughly?

 

pls if possible tell me the parts they will change in the engine for full overhaul and the costs... oso for the gearbox :) thanks!

 

 

and our 2t tank is got pump one anot ah? or even when the engine is off it will slowly flow 2t into the fuel line n engine?

went thru another round of ops to remove some pieces of metal off my patched up shoulder and to transfer some muscle..

Hello! Dunno who you are yet but we'll know each other soon enough.

 

Lets see. I overhauled somewhere in July.

Items replaced

Conrod

Bearing 1set

Oil seals

Full gasket

Coolant

Piston & Ring

Conrod press (they sent it out to pry open the crankshaft to swap the conrod)

Gear oil

Labour

 

Total cost me $847

 

If you were to include new valve, $160 i think. Lacrimosae should still have one or two to sell.

 

Clutch set will cost around 300 for original rotax ones

Balancing gear + 2t gear will set back another 200 +/- shipped in from uk (ultimate parts)

 

So yea, set aside $1500 to do 100% overhaul. But if I were you, I'd save abit more to kit out with some nice tricked out parts.

 

Assuming the bike you wanna get comes with 28mm carb, buy the 34mm brand new (cost around 300+ from uk PJME).

New steel braided brakelines.

New brakediscs (braking wavey discs).

Arrow or Gianelli full system (800 or less).

New chain and sprocket.

Service the forks.

Change the rear shock.

Fresh set of tyres.

 

So yeah! Buy one for around 1.5k, then throw all that money to overhaul to 100%

 

And If I were to ever gonna do a 100% overhaul, I'm gonna take the frame and swingarm somewhere to get it bling-ed up again.. Cost more money again.. :cry:

2.2K? Ohlins one set or wat? I saw some ppl in taiwan they just got GSXR1000 forks and it seems can direct install no extra work or maybe just a bit work on tuning disc offset. Dun know how much it cost here to get those bigger bike stock forks~should be more than enough to be used on 125 bike
