If you're not intending to go track anytime soon, BT090 is my pick. Been using this set of tyres for 3mths+ and I find that its quite good for road usage. I feel its pretty stick on the rear. Even going thru heavy rain (like the one that came out on the papers recently regarding bukit timah flooding), I was riding on that day for a solid 2hrs, to and fro from jurong to clarke quay to jurong TWICE. End of the day, felt the rear tyres when I finally stop the bike and it was still sticky.

just pump full tank.. awhile can start den when pillion go up cannot liao. weird. probably the battery? cuz when i press the start button and hold the battery sign started blinking on the display. hmm maybe tomorrow try on and leave it there for awhile.

bro i think should be the batt... how many yrs liao ur rs125? still running on stock batt? cuz one relief is that got the batt light blinking... if dun have then cant start then will have more serious prob...

 

my old rs125... last time the starter motor got water go inside... then cant start up sometimes... but sometimes can again.. lol... eventually the whole starter motor spoil... -.-!

Shops don't bother to charge the batteries of the bikes they hold as current stock.

 

Your batteries are quite likely dead.

 

If you take it back to the shop, they will just blame it on you, since you are a new and inexperienced rider. Then charge you for a new battery, which they will damage by not trickle charging it for at least 1 hr before installation, thus ensuring that you will have a permanent battery problem, and will have to keep going back to them for follow-up servicing, which they will claim is not covered under warranty, and continue to profit from their dishonesty.

 

To fix this problem, buy a new battery, and a battery charger. Charge it yourself to make sure no one sabotages you or your bike. Then install.

u just got ur rs125 ? same here .. i got mine like less than a month , and i've already gotten a 70 bucks summon ! anyway , anyone know what it means when the spanna icon blinks everytime u turn on ur bike , but eventually it will disappear after a few secs

u can heck care, or go to mah where they will do the reset where the icon will disappear. and they wun teach u. lol. i know one mechanic who knows how too. hehe. come for outing and i will tell u. LOL.

 

 

anyway, been long since i posted. saw a black 09 rs125 ytd night at loyang ave. seems like an army guy. are u in the forum?

 

i purposely slowed down to wave hi. haha. nice to see aprilians around. sorry if im rude, as after i say hi, i rushed off. lol!

v-force is good, make the whole throttle response light and adds power throughout the whole range of the rpm. vector one in singapore is selling at 240. make ur calculations u know its cheaper. and vector one now has 2 sets more. when they order in that time for me they order more.

I have a battery charger.

 

Drop by for a DIY session and we'll use the re-conditioning function of the charger to restore the battery to good health again.

 

Voltmeter reading should be 11.9-12.4V during idling and 12.9-14V during riding. Anything lower and it means the battery has one foot in the grave already.

 

Anything below 9V and you can change batt, because it's beyond re-conditioning.
