Btw, the minute repeater is an awesome watch to have. History behind it as from what I've heard was that it was made for blind people who wanna know the time.. Neat complication to have on a watch. These days, watches you see on the market are all following the same boring complications. Chronographs especially. Next would be a moonphase, perpetual calendar. Personal favourite of the lot is the Auto Relay watches as seen in seiko kinetic watches.

 

As for me, if I had that much cash to splurge on a watch.. This is what I'll get

I used to work for UBS and know this swiss guy in Zurich. His brother-in-law wortk for IWC and he said he can get me a IWC pilot for only euro $20K. Cheap cheap. I can only drool....

Anyway, this pilot that my swiss friend told me about is limited edition and you got to queue like few months just to buy. That is provided you are part of some swiss inner circle and also know someone who work in IWC or higher places.

Does it say auto relay on the dial (face) of the watch?

 

Some models, just 1 watch can buy at least 2 RSV4 OTR with full mods.

Its more of an investment thing for them la.

No need kiss the sales rep feet so jia lat to purchase an IWC ba....

 

Because when my dad was at Germany's airport he went in a watch shop and there was IWC watches priced @ 7k+ SGD

So... Unless its some high-end replica then I not sure le.... Not very knowledgeable in watches =)

To add-on , I went to do a small search on google... Well I think when you say you never see before IWC watches below 10k is because you aiming the limited edition ones... I believe IWC Pilot's Chrono is below 10k SGD... if the forum where I visited is correct the RRP of the pilot's chrono is 7kSGD...

 

Well you can always buy a starter @ 7k and aim for the 10k n above !

The manual should address this issue... You might want to read it.

 

All new bikes come with a manual. If you didnt get one when you bought the bike from the shop, then it means they are holding on to it. Should go bug them for it. And it should not cost you anything because its supposed to come with the bike FOC. (included in the price of the bike)

If they try to charge you extra for it then.... hahaha... Call police for unethical business practices?

 

Yes, the Jolly Moto exhausts are the best pipes you can get for the RS125. And the prices are pretty good too. Because PJ is like the Lim Ah Boy of UK. hahahaha.... They are popular among bikers but all other shops hate them for spoiling the market with lower prices. Only problem is our shipping is quite high - £45 (S$100), so we usually make sure our order is very big in order to defray the shipping costs.

 

I'll be placing another order with PJ in Jan-Feb period. Feel free to add your Jolly Moto to the list.

Contacted them via email.Price is 500 euro for complete set but shipping is damn expensive at 300euro.thats the best price they can get.Im not too sure what material though coz on the webby can choose CF or normal fibre.Too bad these fairings are for the pre 06 models.

You need the following ingredients

 

1 tube of AUTOSOL (substitute with 1 pack of Mcguire's Polishing cream)

1 allen key set

1L bottle of water (substitute with your favourite drink)

1 polishing cloth

Elbow grease (LOTS OF IT)

 

 

Directions

 

Remove fairings with allen key

Apply autosol onto cloth

With cloth on your index finger, Rub on the affected area in a clockwise or anti-clockwise motion.

Make sure to use alot of elbow grease.

Check to see if the spots are removed by wiping the affected area with the clean / polish free part of the cloth.

 

Drink plenty of water to hydrate yourself.

 

If yan can cook, so can you!

Hehehe... One of our fellow riders also kena something like yours.

 

Autosol worked for me. Spend at least few minutes just polishing the affected parts. Took me at least 20 min to fully clean the stubborn stains off. Or else after rain go and splash ur frame and swingarm with clean water to prevent that stain from appearing.
