Hi Aprilians,

 

I intend to purchase the HD MotorSport Hero from the GoPro website because its too expensive from the local dealer (S$550).

 

Just wondering if you'd like to share the cost of shipping for a set.

 

I've got a brand new set which belongs to a friend, videos are huge and very bright+clear, and the mount that sticks to the helmet/vehicle body is stuck with 3Mâ„¢ VHB 4991 adhesive tape which can be considered almost permanent once applied (have to use blade to slide the tape in order to remove).

 

If you're interested to view it before purchase we can arrange for it before I return the set to my friend.

 

He bought it locally for S$550, but below are the costs if we get direct from GoPro:

 

1. GoPro HD Motorsports Hero US$299 (S$420)

2. Shipping Internationally US$25 (S$35)

 

If we split the shipping, it will cost S$440 each. Shipping will take about 8-11 business days. Will need you to put a 50% deposit (S$220) first. Pay the other half upon delivery.

I will place my order by mid Jan latest. As always with international orders, the more the merrier!

Hahaha now 16th, even worst. Pending x10 for myself already.

 

Hokay. After much procrastination, I've finally packed up my bag and will go on my solo journey to KL in about an hour. Gotta get out of SG to clear my head for abit. Too much to think about, too much to worry. I'll try to check in when I get there.

Reporting LIVE at Sunway Lagoon Starbucks!

 

What a ride!

 

Set off @ 9am just now, went via 2nd link. all was fine thruout the first half of the journey. pumped when needed & made my way to Malacca, where I detoured hoping to get lunch ard 12.30pm

 

That's when the problem cropped up. Bike went totally dead while going past a junction. Panic-ed for abit & push to the nearest parking lot. Locked bike up & walked 3km to the nearest mall to get on the internet for info. Aprilia got a dealer in the area. Called em up to tow my bike over & find the problem. Happen to be the wire behind the key slot got disconnected. Got the wire replaced & wasted RM100 & 4 FRIGGIN HOURS! 2 to wait for tow, another 2 to swop the blasted wire! I could have checked in & rest on a comfy bed if it wasnt for the wire..

 

So, once done I pushed the bike to 145-150km despite being cautioned by ahseng to Not go above 7k rpm..

 

So here I sit, exausted & waiting for my friend to arrive , feeling damn hungry. Light breakfast, Skipped lunch totally & coffee is giving me a buzz now.

okay haha, then how much is he planning to sell ? Hows the condition? Lets not disturb him so a rough estimation of numbers will do :)

btw bro, we've checked. for jin age the insurance is 20k. god! lucky my dream car now is an integra. phew.

If he can afford the choice, that means he is born with golden spoon...... 20k of insurnace...he is alot younger than I thout....:) Good and realistic choice of yours. But integra already stop production, you can only get 2nd hand and left with 5 years COE the most. :)

haha wow 20k... try asking with lambo murcielago SV... I saw the other forums talking they say the insurance is 40k+ and their probably 30-40s.... Can buy a car with every premium paid :angel:
