Well, 6 years ago, I paid $750 for my Arrow. Now for $580 one can get the same performance from an exhaust manufactured in the same factory with only a different brand. I can't help being a little jealous. Haha...

Lets meet on 21 Feb for dinner at Ho Chiak Yong Tau Foo!

Funny, I got it for the 1st time for 680 about a year after you! :)

The Gianelli has been 580 since it came to the market bro. I remember.. :)

I got my eye on this smashing stainless steel exhaust though. Cant wait to hear it.

Can you help?? I'm on for the dinner appt, but i can come only at 9plus after tuition. :)

Mesa do give me a call, wish to collect my item tonight, thanks

When the winds resist my impetus and sights become passing shadows. Every other sound is voided, all but the undeniable roar of my engine.

My physical vision recepts naught, but my mind is tranquil.

I see my inner soul.

Ok just a short update.

Just installed my flatslide racing carb yesterday. At the same time ran it on open pod and fixed the boyeseen reeds.

Currently bike is far away from being properly tuned. Bogs like mad at 4.5k-6.5k rpm. But once u break that barrier, thats when the fun starts. It pulls like a beast, easily topping out at 11.5k rpm.( can rev to 12k but it dosent have anymore pull after 11.5k) The bogging i believe is due to it being open pod. Will test out the bike for this one full tank and i think i will be fitting the airbox back in. Powerband of the bike nw starts somewhere ard 8k rpm. anything below that the bike feels as if theres no power. Again, i attribute this to the carb running on open pod.

Hope u guys can share ur carb settings so i'll have an rough gauge where i can start fine tuning.

You should stick to the scientific method - change only one variable each time.

That way, you can evaluate your results for each variable independently, instead of leaving most of it to guesswork, like you are now.

Change the carb first, calibrate it to a perfect state of tune, then you'll have little to worry about when you start playing with other variables like jets, air intake options, reeds, etc.

Once your baseline is established, you can safely return to it if your next change goes wrong.

Second step is to change the airbox. This will require many more steps in altering the carburetion and plug testing to finally allow the pod filter to be used.

Finally, with your carb well-tuned and pushing loads of power out, you change the reeds to see if there is a difference. If your bike is poorly tuned, performance mods like reeds, air filters, etc are useless as the gain is minimal.

Performance mods only work with proper tuned bikes.

Now that you've changed so many variables at one go, you won't know what's working and what isn't. You do not know what is bogging and what may be compensating for it, and worse, your jetting is going to be hell to get done as you don't even have a baseline for comparison.

These things take time. Invest the time and you will be duly rewarded.

Skip the important steps and you'll be left tearing your hair out for months, if not years, because you will never know if anything else you change is a real gain, or simply compensating for power losses in the first place.

I won't share my secret and exhaustive carb settings because you don't even have a baseline to compare it to.

I can tell you like the smell and sound too. From a TZM to an RS125. In terms of displacement not much of an upgrade, but in terms of the riding experience and pleasure derived from a smooth running RS125, definitely an upgrade. Better brakes, better handling, great geometry, inverted forks, and the range of aftermarket mods... Well, your options are quite unlimited.

Only limit being your wallet.

Thats has always been my plan. To change one thing at a time so i can feel the difference of each mod. But theres a reason why it went this way and i shall explain why i did all these at one go during our next DIY =)

Yeah bro , I love the sound of 2-strokers and the smell of 2t simply addictive .. Hahaha.. Aside from that , I love to try an Italian machine which have a different set up from a Japanese made.. I can feel the difference when going into corners and stability during straights.. Will only get a a bigger ride when I get my class 2.. As for 400cc I'll pass .. 90% will get an Italian ride when I'm @ class 2..

Ps:- When I'm on an Italian machine , I feel different on the road.. Feelin good.. Hahaha.. RS125 simply exotic at it's own class.. Cheers to all Italian horse riders..

Anyone knows where to buy 06' onwards headlight bulb? I think it's h11. Bought 2 sets at race work and it's not bright at all as it's 35w.

I'm looking for white colour.
