my guess it is ur speedo cable, im not sure how much it cost, i'll help you check it out when i head down to ideal one day.

speedo cable..less than 20 bucks. max 25 maybe.

speedo gear 70 bucks. both inclusive of installation.

Speedo's very important to me too, but if you're really concerned about accuracy, you might want to consider getting an aftermarket one like this. I've never used it but at least you'll have a better chance of accuracy than you would with the stock speedo. And if you're not using stock sprocket sizes, your stock speedo will be even more inaccurate.

 

kink has a digital speedo he has yet to install, perhaps you can PM him to discuss.

I just changed my speedo gear recently at ideal at 120 bucks for Y2K version. I Kena chop arh?

120 bucks? wah.. i remember very well that i had mine changed for just 70!

and i had it changed about 3-4 times all at e same price. maybe my speedo gear was a 'chiong' onE? haha.. is there a 'chiong' one??

Hey i am definitely enjoying my ride....even when i got lost on the way home from town and when looking for lawrence's block it was all fun fun fun! :cheer:

 

Anyway...anybody going ideal soon? want to change my chain n sprockets....

It would be fine, and in fact I used it for a month. I've switched to Unil-Opal though, and suggest you give it a try.

Can last at least 2 more months...

Rental chain is a damn good stuff but wear very fast, wait till the sprocket start making noise than change dude...

 

But you havet to agree that the bike is in good condition ya, whack the bike more often till 12-13k RPM, I set the bike that way...

Servoprax did adjust his rs125's Milo higher to get better clearance off the ground on left corners.

No difference... exhaust still flows.....

Huh? u sure? Coz everybody's telling me to change the chain n sprockets....but at the very least i need to tighten the chain like u said so i still need to go ideal....how bout the gear oil man? Issit still ok?
