how bout the gear oil man? Issit still ok?

Lawrence....how come i didn't get any stickers with my purchase of Unil-Opal 2T? :cheeky:

About the gear oil: just find out when it was changed last, then decide for yourself whether you want to change it at Ah Boon's recommended interval of every 1000km (which I follow) or stretch it to something like 1500km, which doesn't bother lots of people.

You never get stickers cuz you never sacrifice cow lah; do your duty first please. But seriously, you get stickers only if you buy several bottles. Must give people volume incentive what.

Roadster> will do.. hope to get e new tires fitted tomorrow and my friend is passing me his Arrow pipe on Sunday. Can't wait to get it fitted n tuned up and test out the "power". haha.

My friends say I'm gonna die crying after my Z1000 but it's a different kinda challenge to ride the RS125 fast.

I'm still confident that it will in some ways improve my riding ability.

:)

i need ur coment.....

do u think that our insurance(apprila RS125) is very expensive which compare to other bike like Sp and KR....

i brought my insurance from income.

my insurance (3rd party only) for the 1st year is $577.

2nd year is $519. ( 10% discount. No claim)

my bro who is riding RVF, his insurance (income)(3rd party fire & theft)

with 15% NCD is $520.....

Compare with my Bro a 400cc bike insurance is same as a 125cc bike insurance.

i m comfuse>>>>>>>

why do u think insurance for apprila is so expensive...........

why do u think insurance for apprila is so expensive [/b]

I suspect that 2 reasons for the high cost are:

- Aprilias being considered somewhat exotic (cuz imported), and anything exotic is a worse risk than something more common, ie, Japanese bikes.

- expensive spare parts, should the insurer have to fork out for a claim (3rd party + fire/theft)

Insurance premiums vary widely based on a whole range of criteria, so it's not useful to compare between people unless you find someone whose situations closely matches yours.

I've had my Class 3 licence for many years so my car insurance premiums would be low. But I've had my Class 2B for less than a year, and pay NTUC $800 for 3rd party + fire/theft, even though I'm 28.

A 31-year-old guy I know who holds a Class 2 licence and has been racing for years would probably pay half of what I'm paying, for the same coverage.

Logically, I would think it would be an even bigger difference. Of course, who says insurance companies are logical?

mine is income

i get that when i pass my 2A less then 1 yr which mean my i hold 2A less then 1 yr

then 1 am 21

so i feel not much diff

i got my 2A two month ago when i m still 19.

i caluate the insurance for RVF(my bro bike) is about $400+ for 3rd party only, $600+ for 3 party fire and theft.

400cc bike insurance is cheaper than rs 125...

why........
