where got anti - social, that fazer was used by the photographer as a standing point. but anyway i think the owner shy lar. cos now no more aprilia already. that fazer is actually a tuono 1000 wanabe.. hehe. left early cos on afternoon shift.

Yup, it's a mix. The thing is though, I don't think it's accurate anymore cuz some of them may now be former owners. I'd help sort things out, but I haven't been around on this thread long enough to know who's who on the entire list.

Ideal was the sole distributor for singapore for the arrow pipe sometime ago. I guess arrow still recognizes them till this day. Good for business. Now lets see how the prices go...

No kidding? Cool. But that makes me wonder why they didn't beat Biketech21 to bringing in legal arrows then, especially since they have such a ready market of Aprilia owners who service their bikes there. Well, I'm glad they got around to it; the more competition the merrier.

 

MysticMoon, as far as I know Ideal doesn't sell bikes, unless you count one particular mouldy RS125 that's been on display for a while next to the cashier window. They service, fix and mod. Got shop upstairs also. Got sell suits, exhausts, Polini big bore kits, etc.

you have to see how the condition and how much the bike is worth(the best is call lawrence aka lacrimosae) to go and view the bike with you so he can evaluate the parts worth in the bike.

its definitely expensive unless it is the one mentioned wif only 3k mileage n is under cover since bought.. i selling mine for 2.7k actually, but a stupid cab cos mi to accident n bike gone case... n mind u, mine is in v gd cond... so anything above 3 k is u kena chop carrot, unless its really showrm cond.. or wif ridiculous mods tt is worth it.. hee.....

cheng xi , saw your bike at ideal man.. so sorry to se ur bike in that state, anw just in case you cant sell your bike or something, you can try selling me your WP front suspension.

I just change to riding a aprilia recently. And the handling just blows me away.

Just one question which i hope you can help.

 

I find that the rear brake is a bit weak i.e. when i depress the brake lever, i must press all the way and even then the bike does not really slows downa lot..

does it has something to do with the brake fliud. as in fluid low. thats why i must depress a lot. Can topping up help?

i'd that problem too..

changed my brake pump kit few weeks back.. brake back to normal..

now, the same thing happened again... i bleed the brake.. but it seems that

one of the pistons in the caliper is not working... unable to bleed..

think gotta change the caliper kit.. sianz...

It's always hard to put a value on bikes but I'd say above 3k for a y2k bike and it had better be in AS NEW condition without a scratch and in perfect running order.

Basically if you need to spend nothing after buying the bike then that's a big advantage. A bike is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. The perceived value of RS125s in SG bikes is alot less that what shops are trying to sell them for or the value that 1st owners selling their bikes place on them.
