let me begin ... one of the places i've been is in batam..

resort i choose is Turi Beach resort..

rating is 8/10...

the food there is nice...

there's water sports including jet ski, water ski, fishing, snorkelling

but its expensive.. $60 of jet ski that last only 30 mins..

before reaching there, we went to massage parlour, shopping for crackers, and seafood..

well a gd experience for 4day 3 night...

i went to Redang Island.. super lurveeee it.. the travel agent brought me to this place.. at trengganu..exact location i dunno.. the boss is a little kid.. super super nice food...

 

i also like Sibu Island. they take care of me very well. dun even let me walk from my hut to lobby or anywhere.. insist on getting on a buggy.. wahahahah...

For those who wanna go to Genting, take note that our neighbors unlike us have 1 week holiday, so it is really really packed up there.

 

Many cars will breakdown in a jam on those hilly slopes. Dun go there during CNY especially 1st week. Lucky mine dint break down during the 1hr plus up slope jam.

just been to kota kinabalu, nice place to shop & makan. if any1 going there to relax, i would recommend u "Beverly Hotel" is a 3 star hotel but there service & hotel room just like 5 star, big cosy room, nice view, bath tube too. Cost around $80 per nite.

 

taxi only RM10 to city. many shopping centers, whole stretch of restaurant along near the sea with nice sea view & of cuz the pasar malam.

 

u guys shld try the eastern part of malaysia of sarawak & sabah.

 

my trip: jetstar return ticket- $250+++ (airasia also fly to kk) look out for promotion!!!

hotel: $80+ per nite

taxi: RM20 (from airport to hotel) & RM10 (from hotel to city)- walking distance around 15mins

 

Give ur bike a rest & fly there...

those who like adventure shld try kota, climb the kinabalu mountains, of coz scuba diving, over there got many islands for u to dive with crystal clear water like the famous Sipadan, mabul, mataking island & many more.

 

i was there to visit my wife relatives over there at Lahad Dato, which in other town, hv to take domestic flight. So i manage to stay 1 nite in kota, not enough time to explore...

Japan has very nice scenery in the rural areas. My bf and I went to Gunma. Which outskirt area did you go to?

 

I love BKK. Bintan has really really nice sea views and abit of ATV adventure. Malacca is nice and peaceful but gets boring after the 2nd trip. Penang has nice seafood.

 

People who've been to Kota Kinabalu, tried the mountain climb? Is it very very tough? What kind of training did you go through before you do the climb?

Serious?! My friend barely made it there. She ran 3km thrice a week for like half a year. Did your father take the easier route or the tougher one? I heard there were two.
