juz to share wif u guys, i've fix fast throttle last nite. the response is not a super great difference but definitely improves & its better than b4. maybe its bcos its auto gear or i'm juz numb...

the turning radius is greatly reduced. i only open the throttle almost half as much as b4 and it gets to the same speed. really a good product for easing my pain on my wrist's ligament injury.

 

really hope eugene can finish wrapping my 2 backrests by tml afternoon... if not i oso got no time to modify the bracket le...

maybe ah choong will tell you that sound you hear is normal so no need to worry?

fact is, there will be some "regular" sounds coming from the transmission area (due to moving parts), even for a brand new SW. we need to learn what is normal SW sound and differentiate them from the abnormals

 

alternatively, can go K&T if you're nearer to Ubi area.

Failed my class 2 and will be status quo for the next 2 months. Actually I'm beginning to doubt whether I need a bigger cc bike, esp on SG roads. After transmission cleaning, EO / GO change and air-filter cleaning, SW feels smoother than before, which is already smooth to start with. The rest all still in good condition after 2.5 years or 20k km (belts, rollers, U-clips, clutch, coolant, brake fluid, etc). Also, the brakes seems to be stronger after servicing. What the mech did was just to use compressed air to blow at the pads and no adjustments (or did I not see it?); some dusts came out (like those you see when they change F1 tyres). Weird...

eh uncle, better take it even u dun need a bigger bike anymore. juz let the class2 12 points runs for a year. juz in case, wat if u feel the urge to change or get another bigger bike but gotta wait for the lic again? juz my personal opinion...

 

wat i usually see is they juz stick the tip in-between the calliper and air blow it. shud be enuff ba... correct me!

Actually, I've no issue with my SW400. After 1 year of riding, I've learnt how to manoeuvre it in sg congested roads. Power is good enough as I always ride solo; has enough storage; fully paid and is economical to maintain.

 

Only issue is back side itchy as this is only my 2nd bike and I've not experienced other "better" bikes. Some change bikes like change EO

Silverwing is definitely an excellent.. For me, its the only ex-bike tat I missed. Often tot of rekindling...

HI anyone here experience that the pilot t10 if change to LED type spoilt very fast?? Mine T10 dun last... Dunnoe if this is the case for all SW or just mine SW... Mine is FJS euro model...

It should be the type of led used.

I have the same problem previously but after changed to a different type, it remained functional for almost a year.

Can try cheap cheap ones at Autobacs for $3.50 per bulb or can pm scoobydoo for info of a shop selling the T10.

this shop sells a type of T10 LED which has a focal lens in front to direct the lights forward, thus very bright from the front. costs abt $20 a pair (take away), it comes with white, blue, red, purple and i think there's green too

 

if you want white or blue, i have a pair of each (spares) to let go if you want. do note that any color other than white is summon friendly

on 2nd thoughts, think i'll keep the white ones for inspection purpose... dun think anyone interested in whites anyway

 

the blue T10 were bought from autobacs for $12.80, fitted only few days but fell in love with the lens-type. if you want, buy me coffee at CB clubhouse and its yours

but seriously, if you're looking for something really "eye-catching", check out the $20+ lens-type. you can't miss them from the front
