Need bit of skill and patience if u change then as bleeding frm empty hose bit challenging.

Both seals and piston cause u less then $50.

Next upgrade is sintered hh compound for front caliper and organic for rear. Can try vesrah cheaper then ebc but equivalent stopping power and less dust.

Vesrah... Hmm... You might wanna check on your discs after using it for some time. Less dust means lower wear rate of brake pad. No doubt Vesrah is good both in the dry and wet but they wear out your disc faster than usual. I'm running on Vesrah pads for my CB400 too.

Master pump Brake piston is the one that the lever is pushing in to push the brake fluid to the caliper. Cheap alternative is to clean and apply grease at the moving parts.

Vice versa lar bro for brakes, more dust or brake disc makan. But no doubt our scoot front brake is not powerful enuff due to one disc brake.

Nverthelss any review on cm55 braking pads?

Tried to diy open up and clean the variator but had a hard 1hr thinkin and staring at the variator nuts how to open. Hahaha

Anyone of u diy the belt change before care to share ?

Scoobs, how's the washing at Keat Hong like? Isit gd? I just stay next door to them 297D.

the washing is the normal hand shampoo-n-spraydown wash, not snowy wash... think its $5 or $6 per wash.

i signed packages to have 12 washes and a free vacuum for my car for $50 (heard recently increased liow), but the wash count can be used for bikes too.

the malay boys are quite thorough in washing the bike, even the rims are washed. what i like most is the convenience of leaving my bike with them (no need to tear parking coupon) then go for lunch/dinner, returning to collect a clean bike :thumb:

there's no best of both worlds... most important is the braking power when you need it :p

according to HelmetBOX! (former SW super-songnik pilot now flying a tmax), the braking CM55 is good but a little dusty. i considered that before deciding on EBC.

DIY belt change? ask SW9000

bro, its actually 15 washes. i got it for my car too. on the card, its 12 slots + 3 FOC & 1 free vacuum. very worth it for normal wash. if dun sign package, its $5, regardless saloon car or bike.

but dun choose those "peak hours". last when i sent my sw for them to wash but at weekend lunch time, they din even wash the rear part, including the transmission cover... in the end still looks dirty there.

Very good liao lo

When I was traveling between 130-140km/h during the last krabi trip, my FC only 20km/l.

I think the reason for high FC is mainly due to the worn out transmission system.

All brudders do remember to do regular maintenance on the transmission system.

Happy CNY all!!! i'm back from msia

kinda tired even its only a 4 hrs trip... old liao, here ache there ache...

din hit the top speed, only cruise between 140~150km/h on NSHW. travelling at such speed is actually quite high fuel consuming... :nono:

my feeling is same as SW9000, our SWT400's aerodynamic design, or the "wind-cutting" is not really dat good. other than dat, everything is fine. "cool:

need to wash bike le. so many "dead bodies" at the front part...

Bro Chicken,

U need special tools to stop the variator from turning and use a size 22 socket to loosen the nut.

Do exercise caution when you install back the rollers. The teflon side of the roller must face left when you install.

Tried to diy open up and clean the variator but had a hard 1hr thinkin and staring at the variator nuts how to open. Hahaha

Hahaa yeah stupid variator keep turning when i turn my socket spanner. Where to get the tools? Manage to clean abit of the variators and the sound moving off is gone.

Love my new ride! Sibei relax and fuel economy, but mine only 20km/l. I tink myriding style and open pod are the culprits. Lol
