Without 1 registered key, you cannot re-programme. Need to replace the whole immobilizer (expensive) or disable HISS (cheaper).

If so easy to reset, it won't be a security system

 

Re-programme is easy but must have 1 registered key.

if your bike is still under loan instalment, the finance company should have a spare key. try calling them to borrow the spare key.

 

if totally don't have, then no choice gotta go BS and see what magic they can do... maybe they have a "master key" from honda for HISS

for all riders of SW or any bike with HISS... please heed this advise,

 

"always keep a spare key somewhere at home!!!"

 

personally, i would recommend to have 3 keys in our possession; 2 if rider does not go touring. why need additional keys?

key 1: daily riding

key 2: spare to be brought along for touring

key 3: spare to be kept at home at all times for "emergency"

or

key 4: held by finance co. if under hire-purchase

 

3 steps to duplicate an additional HISS key:

(1) buy the uncut honda HISS key

(2) duplicated the key per the existing/operational ones

(3) have all keys synchronised (programmed) with bike's codes

There are many ways to do it, some tap to headlights, some to the ignition wire of the switch, some run a separate wiring harness with relay to battery. Spend some time to study the wiring diagram. At a minimum, need to open front fairing, worst ALL fairings if you run your own wiring harness like mine Better leave to shop mechanic as easy to break things.

Tap to the headlight sound simple ,provide I knoe which wires are black or red. plus the position of the voltmeter is nearer and shorter .
