tennis rackets were made of wood in the past... until technology transformed the game.

the use of wood as a frame material didn't undergo any real challenge until 1967, when Wilson Sporting Goods introduced the first metallic racquet, the T2000. Stronger and lighter than wood, it became a top seller, and Jimmy Connors became its most famous user, playing at the top of men's professional tennis for much of the 1970's using the long-throated, small-headed steel frame. by the mid 1970's other manufacturers started to introduce aluminium based rackets with larger head size, amongst them are Prince and Weed USA. that probably marked the downfall of wood as primary material for tennis rackets although some manufacturers continue to use them for another few years.

so sorry to hear that.

my bike is having exactly the same problem and was sent in to Boon Siew last Friday for diagnostic.

BS supervisor (Mr Toh) tested the bike when receiving it but also can crank cannot start.

called BS on Sat and they haven't started work on my bike yet, guess gotta wait for another few days liow.

Ah Choong did a thorough check on my bike, he suspects it could be some electronics failure.

if low bat, you'll get very weak or no crank at all.

you may wanna consider...

(a) send it to mech for checking, if can't solve then send to BS

(b) send straight to BS

good luck... to both of us :pity:

after 4hrs of taking apart all tupperware and i found e problem to why my bike can crank but not fire up.

IMG_5041.jpg

i believe this is e starter motor, and my bike 2 owners b4 me had actually tab a cable out from it to an alarm for prolly remote start or someting (i suspect)

i actually cut e cables from e alarm and didnt realise it was from it so i juz leave it there and becomes a open circuit.

dats y able to crank but not able to fire up.

prolly u may wanna check if there any loose cable to your bike (if you hav ever DIY any electrical stuff tab from it)

after removing the cable and attach back e stock cable, bike start smoothly..

situation:

-battey in good health 12.6v

-kill switch at on position

-side stand up

-all fuse checked and good

-solenoid fuse(30amp) checked

-left brake lever depressed

-hav crank sound

-wont fire up

also used all 3 spare key to test
