it's like wearing shoes, same reason why your shoes' soles become botak... friction.

the more abuse they go through, the faster they go botak ;)

i'm one of the lucky ones who is still using the same piece of clutch bell that was fitted in the factory, changed my clutch pegs once and and after some 60k kms.

no secret... i a gentle rider who cleans the transmission/clutch area every 10k kms or after each long trip to tongyum land.

Based on my approved fund, can only afford F800GS Adv. Unless you want to sell me your GS at F800 pricing, haha.

Anyway, called but test bike not ready, so cant test the wind turbulence at 110km. But I worry in the end, I might still like scooter.

To Give away: SHAD 33 Box with base bracket.

Normally I will just depressed my left brake lever and throttle up to 3.5k and hold for 30sec to eliminate the clutch sound from producing. It will be a norm to get a burn smell from the transmission due to friction on the clutch pads and belt.

:cheer:

Glad to have u in my life : ) Always love one another!

Icic. I got this bike at 36000km. N already got the sound. N previous owner was a slow rider. So when i heard this clutch slip sound, i damn pissed off cause my sw6 had a 120000km mileage n no clutch slip sound. So i asked ah choongn he suggested change pegs n bowl. Now no sound, very happy. N maybe i'll adopt ur method of cleaning every 10000km. Good idea!

The thing is when on main stand, there is no sound but when seated and start moving off, would hear it or when throttling to go up slope from stop. As long as it is safe, just have to tahan it.
