inspire you a bit... someone rode to hatyai on a 125cc 25 years old yammy just few months back.

Hi Guys,

Sharing my trip report on my Yamaha TZR 125cc solo trip.

I brought a FF plate 2RK TZR 125cc with faring mount on 1st April the ex-owner had done a good job maintenance the bike. I miss this bike and is the very first bike I use to own 16 years ago back then I had a dream riding it to Thailand but due to unforeseen circumstances I only manage to do it now. As I previously had 3 time experience travel to Betong on 4 stroke bike solo and hope this time it will benefit a smooth ride. This is my first time riding a 2 stroke bike to HatYai.

Challenge I face expect the unexpected.

The TZR is 25 year old.

2 stroke engine fuel and 2T consumption.

Constant riding on 2 stroke engine over heating issue.

Riding and sitting position rather discomfort.

Noise TZR is a loud bike. haha

on the SW, we took near 11hrs to arrive at Sadao border... this chap took only 15hrs on his 125cc http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Respect/respect-023.gif

He is travelling at 120km/h, whereas I guess I will be at 90km/h.

And he did mention his butt issue, which is what I worry most.

So will still need to go for a test trip for BKT or Beef Noodle to know how painful it is .. haha ...

When you're cruising effortlessly at 110km/h... it's excuse for another long ride.
