Changed and changed. What you need is ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) active suspension, buy this you are free from all this nonsense.

Why can't they come with preload, compression and rebound damping adjustment?

At most add a couple of $k and solve all problems.

I might visit BKT this coming Sat or Sun (depending on consensus of who going).

Then go Bukit Indah watch movie or....

Can try out the Hyperpro spring on uneven roads (to Kota Tinggi) and high speed (E22 to Bukit Indah).

 

Test it on tis coming bkt breakfast, kluang rail lunch and tangkat beef noodle dinner trip ?

Hmm... difficult.

Unless you ride back immediately (through the night) after the day trip. Trunk roads... gonna take 7-8 hours.

Anyway, I'll probably move the trip 1 day earlier and end on Hari Raya itself (Genting cheaper by 40rm on Friday). But still need 1 day leave on Friday.

 

25 Jul (Fri) - Genting

26 Jul (Sat) - Reached Tasik Kenyir

27 Jul (Sun) - Day trip into Taman Negara.

28 Jul (Mon, Hari Raya) - Ride Home.

 

If you wanna rush back on Sunday after day trip, i might be joining you.... still interested ?

2nd Review of Hyperpro Fork Spring (with Mutol Factory Line fork oil) on SW-T.

*1st review was on my FJS about 5 years ago. Not comfortable for my liking, possibly due to the poor stock damping rod configuration (only 2 compression holes in the damping rod). Sold the Hyperpro in 1-week.

** SW-T now comes standard with 4 compression holes in the damping rod. Some improvement from FJS.

 

Very good on SG road.

The front is firm (less sag) and calm. Less feel of the road surface and not jumpy.

Slow speed between cars very stable, without the need to manage balancing with the handle.

However, bigger bumps will result in a harder rebound than stock. Just beware so not to eject off the bike if going too fast over a hump.

Verdict after 2 days = worth the investment. hehe. I bought it cheap from a handsome man...

 

I'll know more when going North on more lousy roads.

Looks good but not easy to configure also.

Must set the valve pre-load, valve spring rate and also choose bleed holes size.

Using thicker suspension oil will have similar effect like the Gold valve.

 

This can solve the problem

Thicker oil affects equally the damping whether at slow speed or high speed.

Gold valve however can be adjusted for slow speed and high speed separately.

Electronic... not sure how it really works but I supposed it comes with pre-determined settings?

I.e. high speed, rainy, uneven surface, etc.

Pre-set is still generic setting, not individualised.
