my regular games with colleagues are on Wednesdays at Marine Parade CC but becos this Wed is public holi, postponed to Thurs lor

 

if HOM got game on maybe every 1st Thurs of the month, i'll play 2 days for that siong siong week lo

one of the most popular place is Eugene Saddlery ... imo, very good workmanship but also very long waiting time. other options are 219, JuzzWheelzz and auntie shop.

 

price depends on many factors:

* type of fabric you choose, e.g. leather, non-slip, matt, glossy, printed designs, embroidery, etc

* number of different fabric, e.g. multi tone or colour

* any skirting

* complexity of design

* modifications to seat (e.g. add cushion, slice cushion, etc)

 

i customised my seat at eugene 4 years ago and the seat is still in good condition, except for some claw marks left behind by a stupid penang cat.

paid $130 and waited almost 2 weeks (he's got too many jobs on hand), but very satisfied by the outcome. price should have gone up after 4 years

btw, this is my new seat design... nice and comfortable.

... rider back rest has been raised (upwards and forward) with additional sponge paddings

... rider seat area has been shaved slightly with a depression

... "shark skin" non-slip fabric over seat area for rider and pillion for better butt grip

... "carbon fibre" look non-slip fabric for a 2 tone look

... light grey skirtings to spice up otherwise boring black-n-black

Any recommendation for gps model that is reliable?

i've used a few brands of GPS PND and in different countries, all have their plus and minuses.

but for biking and touring, i'ld say Garmin is the front runner cos only Garmin has waterproof sets (locally available models), specifically designed for biking needs.

 

another option is to use Google Map navigation function in a waterproof smart phone like the Sony Z-series.

replaced my battery for my SWT. YTZ14S at $145/= cannot discount ... so sad.

Called KS Motorcycle, but no stock. So took from Tat Beng. Nice friendly chap.

In fact I tried another brand. $80 only. Too bad doesnt fit. 1mm too big. haha.
