Some review (think motorcycle USA) quoted as "Not valued for money" but other than that slightly above avg. As from my opinion, im loving it every day riding it. Apart from gettin accessories and modification we will have to wait as its alil too new.

 

1.Just gotten a reply from Jcosta for 530 is currently in production will prolly take a couple weeks *fingers crossed*.

 

2.Accessories are available by certain online stores (ermax: Windshield, DPS racing: Windshield/ mirrors/ footpegs/ levers) but they don't come cheap.

 

3. Malossi parts are usable from the 08' -'11 500cc models but i need to double confirm with mech about Torque Driver, last time we checked it wasn't compatible which contradicts the reply i've gotten from Malossi personnel.

 

Hope it helps, also if you really cannot wait for mod parts/ accessories i reckon getting the older models, they are just as awesome too!

Hi, I changed to 530 (gloss black) in January 2012 from the 08' model. For a start, you can acutely feel the weight difference in the 530, which translate to better handling. When doing 90 degree turns, the 530 "helps" along the cornering, making it easier and more natural, if you may, to negotiate the bend. Well I wouldn't say that the extra 30cc did much difference (how fast can you go on SG roads?), I speculate that if you ride on NS highway, you can feel the difference. The 530 feels more compact and tight, making it feel closer to the rider. My only grouse is that the height of the side mirrors are at same level as most sedan cars on the road, making it slightly more challenging to squeeze in between 2 sedans side by side. But overall, if you enjoy esthetics, the 530 is definitely a head turner (Uncles on other scooters will start asking you about the 530 at traffic light stops). I think 530 by far,Yamaha did the best in terms of designing a maxi scooter which is pleasing to the eye, mind and heart of the rider.
