Bros how's the mileage, acceleration and lane splitting like for the Tmax 530? Does it handle like a sports bike?

bro mileage is like 1 full tank is ard 190 miles...acceleration is fast and lane splitting is good and it does handles like a sport bike...only thing is gotta be careful of the mirrors cos they almost same height with most of the cars. I was surprised that the 530 can squeeze thru traffic so easily and i took the PIE to BKE woodlands corner at almost 80-90 kmh...:thumb:

Wah... Didn't know that.

My opinion of the bike is that it's a class 2 bike - so its acceleration is fast, but it's heavy and wider than bikes from other class - you can't squeeze like you do with a class 2b bike. With good acceleration but heavy, something got to give right? That's fuel mileage.

actually u cant really feel that its heavy...u will be surprised how nimble it is when u on the move. yup only thing is mileage a bit low but no choice.

Heavy meh? I always thought it is light. My bike toppled at carpark due to someone's incompetent parking.

As for lane splitting, yup the side mirrors tend to be abit low. Piak a few cars already. Haha

How much is this bike on the road now??

I thought I have replied this - Brand new is around $23,xxx depending on how much you gotten the COE and the type of insurance.

One more thing to add if you are considering this bike. I'm 1.76m, and my 2 feet can't stand securely when the bike is stationary and straight. I need to tip-toe. Highly not recommended for those below 1.6m I think?

There's once I almost fell, but lucky I'm those who are, well, reasonably strong and go gym. I managed to save the bike from dropping. That's why I would say it's heavy. I was making a slow U-turn into a parking lot then.

Wah strong and go gym..

I'm 1.73m and tip toe also on the bike. I'm lanky and the only gym I go to is the one mindef is paying me to go (Khatib FCC). Haha but seriously I don't find it heavy. I find very nimble in fact. No problems doing slow u-turns and stuff like that. Probably you haven't got used to the geometry of the bike.

Any reason you chose the non ABS?

Because they had no more stock for the ABS when I booked and my previous bike was dying on me. Had to let it go ASAP.. Hehe plus I cannot wait already since they have the last unit of the matte black.

Matte Black looks great! But one owner was like telling me how it gets dirty easily, especially from water stains, as compared to the normal glossy paintwork. How about yours?

Yup matte surface isn't like any glossy paintwork where you can apply polish/wax/sealant to lock in that shine.. It looks really horrible as these few days always rain..
