hi.. i getting tmax after getting off my ride.. which exhaust do u guys recommend? the white tmax 2010 model?

Hi Guys,

 

Would just like to share some experience and update.

 

Past 3 days I have problem firing her up. And she's already telling me that she's weak and need a new battery.

 

But due to busy work committment, simply have no time to bring her to see a doc and get her battery changed. So I thought hopefully I can 'tong' untill weekend then get it done.

 

So finally, she gave up on me last night at office carpark.

 

So I was mentally prepared and no complain about it. Called the tow truck and tow it to XXXX to get the battery change. Left her overnight out in the cold there to Q up and get herself check by the doc.

 

Now......I have a little shock of my life. The bill is $205!!!

 

Tow fees - $25

Battery - $180!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I believe workshop XXX did not overcharge me and I'm very comfortable with their work and service. At most their profit could be anything from 20 - 30%.

 

My question is why YAMAHA TMAX battery is SO EXPENSIVE!!!!!!

 

Damn....reminds me of my BMW days. I thought only BMW's battery is ridicules, so at the end of the day, they are all the same.

i found mine weak cranking previous bcos connections to the batt became loose. twice! mayb mus apply locktite hor..

 

yep yep.. yuasa batt ain't cheap

No lah...she's ridden and not virgin....kekeke.

 

Can't be connections loose coz when I juz know her, she was good and energetic. Fire up upon 1 short crank.

 

Guess after the battery change, she will be back to her normal self or if not, even better.

same here... initially was all good... after awhile of ridding... noises become louder la... nuts become loose oso mayb too much 'rough' riding

Yuasa have cheap & expensive batteries.

some bikes design in such a way that only can use the battery sold by respective bike distributors. though the battery is made by Yuasa, u can't get that battery from your local Yuasa agent. this type of batteries are very expensive.

there're also a kind of batteries filled by powder and does not need to be charge before installing into bike. this batteries are also damn ex.

hmm..mine almost 2 years with no problems n every time above normal riding..maybe 6 more mths need to change de batt..but who knows..

now a days u ride everyday, your batt should be still in good condition.

saw a WHITE T-MAX at old southern motor..from far look like Cisco,but once you go nearer,damn beautiful...the seat design is unique,chrome rims and the white colour oso very white..hahahaha..i love the seat two tone(black/white) colour,if can design one but the two tone in black/red,sure very swee..belong to anyone here??
