can i know more information about spark ? i'm quite intestested .

Going to geylang yesterday was the best thing ever. Though it was freakin crowded, the sales were awesome sia ! Especially in the wee hours of the morning. Woots ! Enjoy the holidays people !

wat to see?

 

1) see e outlook - do you like e bike overall

2) see e accessories - do you like it's accessories

3) hear e engine - see issit vibrating like e osim igallop anot..

4) see the tyre for wear n tear - ask e shop gif new ones u if can

5) see e mileage - issit high or low..

6) ride e bike and test - do you feel comfortable wif it

 

if u dun feel comfortable riding the bike.. i suggest u dont buy.. cos u will spend alot $ making it comfortable to you.. like me lidat..

 

money spend on:

 

- fork alignment

- down fork

- fork oil seal

- press fork

- steering cone bearing

- steering stem

sparks is a good 1st buy for someone who just passed TP....easy to ride and very fuel economical. cheap maintianance too...

 

However, do note that it is an offence to test ride a bike unless you have insurance cover.

I'm guessing you wanna get a 2nd hand one? If it is do as what the bros suggested. Don;t think you can test ride the bike. But usually the bikeshop will allow someone with more riding expereince to test the bike for you. i.e. your friend/brother/father whoever that is that you bring along to view the bike with that have a riding licence.

 

If new bike then just recce for the shop that gives you the best deal.

guys.. what engine oil is the best for our bike? i've been using Castrol.. but the thing is, i can still hear the "tak" sound quite loud whenever i change gears.. and it aint smooth.. or is it normal due to using the racing foot rest?

I just changed to 300v. No "tak" sound. But I thought its normal for 4strokers to have that loud sound? Especially for big bikes. For this tiny bike I not so sure. I still got alot to learn about this tiny bike.

I don't think so it's serious... it's been quite long already... engine oil also changed quite a number of times... yup from neutral to gear 1 (TAK!!)

I think that one is normal. If from other gear (besides neutral) then got problem already.

from neutral to gear 1 when juz warm up bike is normal when the tak sound is loud..

 

from neutral its soft.. when stopping for red light, change from 4, 3, 2, 1.. quite loud, just wondering what engine oil can actually reduce the sound and actually make changing gears smooth..
