Yes, indeed it's a pity Boon Siew not bringing it in. I'm very interested in this bike.

Wondering if this forum could organise the number of interested parties and let Boon Siew know. Perhaps then if they see there's a market for it, they could bring the model in?

Would this work?

Perhaps you try bigger bike shops? Like looi's or Mah etc... some forumer mention that they might do the trick.... parallel import :thumb:

There are few VTR250 left in sg - the 1998/99 batch. 250cc will appeal to those who are looking for a light-weight bike with some performance. It's lighter than a 400cc S4 and perform better than most 2B.

Currently still riding one. It's not a fast bike, but pick-up still not bad. Insurance is also cheap.

The new bike seems like... new design with many old parts...

Yeap im riding.... more like owning one VTR1000F firestorm.... awesome torque. Thot is not as powerful as in-line 4 of a litre class but the torque is

awesome. It is on the lean side as compared to TL1000 & of cos M900.......

The current VTR250 is rare on the rd, is a nice V-twin machine from the Jap, a worked horse with almost not known problem......

Once my frnz mentioned to me tat.... Once u owned a V-twin, u will never turn to in-line 4 again..... guessed wat, my lated frnz is rite, nw all my rides i owned is twins.............

But i hv to admit tat not all riders will love or even try V-twin worrying the market doesn't favour V-twin when the wanted to trade for other ride......

Jz my 2 cents worth......

VeeTwin Power after u rode a twin... u never want a straight four!!!

There should be at least another VTR250 on the road, a black coloured one...

VTR250 and SP1, SP2, firestorm are of different leagues. Different build, different country made. They probably only shared the name VTR. VTR250 seems to originated from VT250.

Firestorm...very rare also, only remember seeing once in sg...

Come to think of it... V-twin bikes always seems more rare on the road, at least in sg context.

Yeah Jap V-twin r rare other than chopper bikes. Wat a waste, the Jap made gd V-Twin engine, so gd than even the Western dude build bike using Jap engine.... TL1000 engine........

Locally ppls dont favour V-twin, actually they r very rare of any known problem. I hv owned a VTR1000F firestorm for... Wow!!! the last 8yrs++.... thot putting very little milage on her (30K for a 11yrs old bike)...... I never hv the heart to sell her off.......... B'cos is a 'history' im riding on not a bike, Why??? B'cos tis very first sport tourer (which still able to do track) model frm the Jap

Luv her till nw...........

i hope the big 4 companies produce more 250 and 400cc bike for us. but hoping is no use cos we just make up a tiny part of their sales revenue. :sian:

but anyway, that bike look sweet. very ducati lookalike.

I do have this feeling that given that cc, people will still prefer the Ninja 250 or Yamaha R4.

U should try VTR SP1 or 2..torque is powerful den in line 4...Its a HRC bike..if u dismantle the lower fairing, the clutch cover stated HRC..i think less den 28bikes for VTR SP1 & 2 in Spore..

saw vtr250 at tampines once b4.

new bike with old plate (FP), looks too good in real life.

maybe u can ask mah pte since they do import from japan.

It's should be an old bike with old plate, hehehe, FQ plate lah...

Tried asking Boon Siew b4 if they'll be bringing in. Chances is very low. Probably should try parallel import like Mah or Looi. Think Mah is the one that brought in the 1998/99 batch of VTR250s.
