hehehe,... i watching show at this timing ... cannot confirm yet... but most pro.. war of world at PS~~ hehee...

Define Danger

More time on road = More Danger

Less time on road = Less Danger

Slower Speed = More Time On Road

Faster Speed = Less Time on Road

Thus

Less Time on Road = Less Danger = Faster Speed~~

Hi guys, would like to ask how much was your last insurance quotation.

I'm 26 and the quote I got for 3rd party fire theft was

$1087 - NTUC

$912 - AXA

This is crazy... My friend who is younger than me on 04R1, his ntuc TPFT was 1.4K. So ours is not much different from R1.

I kanot afford to pay 1K insurance anymore... My life insurance oso not so much haha.

Posted

I paid S$891 (after 20% NCD + 5% loyalty) for TPFT from NTUC last sept when I renewed the insurance. Last Sept I was only 25.

Apr '99 - Sept '00 (Yamaha WR200)

Dec '00 - Jul '03 (Honda CB400 Version S)

Jul '03 - 5 June '06 (Yamaha XJ900S Diversion)

10 May '06 - Current (2004 Yamaha FJR1300ABS)

29 Aug '07 - Current (Suzuki Swift Sports-Mega)

04 Feb '09 - Current (2009 Honda City LX i-Vtec)

Hey fellas,

In case I'm did not meet u people on 2nd July.

-- Travel Insurance, I'll settle with http://www.income.coop/insurance/travel/

-- Rooming - I'll be staying with my wife. Thus we will pay on our own...

-- Route - Whatever u people say --- I can't get lost with my GPS.

-- Even better if u can finalise which hotel to go to..

It may be better to bring S$ to Thailand, the exchange rate is also quite good.

Which is a better choice? B'stone BT020 or Metz MEZ4?

Hi BackOFF,

I second with Euro, you will be better of with Battalax BT020..wet or dry you'll have more confidence with those tires...deep cornering or braking.

As for Metz4 or 6 me have not try yet! so no commence about those tyres.

Hi Yappiez,

Well as you said it you need to respray your bike, Keep it in 2 tone (less red & more white) abit of balancing -that goes with your panniers...

Spray or use red colour to a minimum example detailings e.g- Yam logo, linings, brake calipers/levers, tyre rims' spoke, knuckle guard & etc....

Try not to let the red stand out/out do- the white...I think you got the picture...! if you can balance both colours perfectly your bike will stand out from the rest...

Or maybe you have already plan it out...already! he,he,heee! anyway :goodluck:

Thus far the suggested hotels are :-

1) Lee Garden Plaza Hotel : 1290Baht (twin, breakfast) 5star.

Extra bed 490baht. Ample parking space, best view of the COUNTRY and can see the Kor Hong Mountain. 29 Prachatipat Rd.

2) Regency Hotel : 749baht (smoking rm, twin, no breakfast) 4star

Terrible view, little parking. Opp Lee Garden Plaza.

3)Kosit Hotel, 590baht/nite. Rooms were nice n clean, parking felt secure.

4)Pink Lady - think abt 650 baht...but complicated place...but at the heart of town

Sometimes see all sorts of people walk pass the corridor and in the lifts..

5)Diachi - 700 baht -- But need to walk abit to town...But ample bike parking space.

6) Florida - same price as Daichi - Also must walk, ample Bike parking space...

7. Grand Plaza - abt 700 baht, beside Pink Lady; but better standard than pink lady. And in the heart of town somemore.

My Vote :- Grand Plaza...

Hi BackOff....

BT020 is about to be replace by BT040 soon.I just changed it at SPC Jln Leban...cost me around $145/-.I used the BT020 for two month only after my excitement riding up/down hill of Fraser Hill....no sweat.:thumb: Till early May I ran over a piece of metal rod @ 6'' long.It was dark at Woodlands Ave 7 and it happenned.:nono: All SPC can do bike service. For all you guys, when changing tyer just beware of the rim.Just remind who ever is doing the tyer change about the rim...... o_O tell them to protect it...!
