After lots of consideration, i've placed my order of a silver Divvy along with the upsized boxes capable of holding a helmet in.

 

Now i've gotta wait for a few days for them to settle the misc paper work b4 she's in.... Hope to meet up some of u guys soon to learn more about this baby....

I think you need to retune your carb coz the airflow has increased. Maybe someday boliao can conduct a tuning workshop for all divv owner hee..hee..hee..

 

so far I only tried balancing the 4 carbs oni. to totally retune the air/fuel mixture would take much effort and time.

 

You would need to open up the carbs , turn the pilot screw , close back carbs, high rev the bike with load then check plugs.

Then repeat again until you got the nice light brown plug. then after that balance the 4 carbs.

what so good about big side panniers, it will create more traffic problem whle filtering through heavy traffic especially the 47 liters side panniers, the size is more then half the width of a harrier.

Short of getting a car, I can put 2 pairs of rollerblades, raincoats, bags, tools, groceries in my panniers. No need to to carry a havesack in front of me while riding & pillion does not have to carry a haversack at the back. More comfortable riding expeirence for me personally. No problems filtering for me even in heavy traffic...only occasionally when cars purposely close the gap which even a kup kia cannot pass. I speak for myself only

Me already used to having boxes to throw lots of junk stuff in & am not used to carrying my helmets ard... Enuf to carry 1 week load of clothings + laptop with mine so really can't do without one. Compared to my current one, its about 10-15cm wider so i believe it wont be long b4 i get used to it again.

so when u use K&N filter, ur balancing done by u or bikeshop? if bikeshop how much they charge? Thks in advance.

Haha for me always have a feeling that the seat is too high and too heavy...1st thing I did after getting the bike is to install a crash bar...

1st time I drop was when I was looking for a parking space in a car park, I was turning, but saw a parking space on my left, instinctively I brake, so the bike drop.

 

2nd time was in Malacca, as a junction, I was turning right with pillion, saw traffic coming, so brake while turning....Drop again...Mar-Lu man..

 

3rd time also same as 2nd time...

 

 

Most time drop because stop while turning...Sign...never learn from lesson...No pillion still can handle the weight..with pillion, too heavy...

 

Luckily the crash bar protect the bar.

 

 

How much did u pay 4 the crash bars? Got it from seng kwang?
