Looking forward to that...but do gimme chance when riding cos will still be new to bike then n havent run in fully yet?...Now with a 24L fuel tank, more worth the effort to go to JB top up....Wooooo.......

BOYS!!!!! the divvy is only 21.85 litres not 24 litres as mentioned in the owners i encountered a very bad experience 2 yrs ago where i over-estimated my divvy & ran dry in the tank along TPE. thus has to push the divvy to the nearest petrol kiosk exit to tampines, when the reserve light came out the mileage was 210 miles, when the divvy came to a halt it clocked at 265 miles. while, i considered the numbers as pretty impressive though is an error printed in the manual.

 

even if i compared with my friend ST while riding along NSH, i always paid 80cents ringgit or 40 cents sing more then him for the petrol. again it was impressive considering we were travelling the same speed, i pillioned my wife, with extra luggage & the divvy do not have a proper full fairing like many tourers.[/color]

 

a little advice to gain good milege from the divvy is to ride her consistently if in s'pore along the highway at appr. 90 to 100 km/hr & not more then 4500rpm, the best at 4000rpm. this way u will get 220miles or more before reserve light lights up. while try to observe more on the odometer then the speedometer.

Guys, thanks for the invitation although I am not a divvy owner but I guess being a Yamaha will do just fine I got a graduation function to attend that day so can't be there at 7.30pm as suggested. I can be there at 1030pm if you all still ard.

no leh , I always pumped about 22.5 into the tank, seriously cos I saw it many times with my own eyes. And it wasnt dry, neva tried dry tank before. anywayz I pump petrol will oways squeeze every bit into the tank cos go malaysia mah. I will wait for it to settle then put bit by bit, mabbe thats why I can get so much into the tank
