I thinking of the brake and tail light convert into LED waiting for you, remember the project...he,he,hee! Now you can get the parts over there and start the project moving and tell us the cost... the LEDs,step up/down transitor are cheaper over there right! So when are you coming back didn't see you for some times.

Hi Guys, for those who r coming for the convoy (Marshalling) on 21 June 09. I would like to hold a meet up on this coming Sunday evening at 5 pm (before dark) together with the goldwinger, to familiarize the route for the convoy. Let me know for those who can make it, thanks.

Bro, you wanna convert ur current handle bar to TP high version on ur XJ? Do check ur cable/wiring first before buying the TP handle bar as you need to reroute or get a longer cable/wiring. Btwn with TP handle bar you will feel more relax and comfort riding.

 

As for the Diversion T-Shirt you may wan to get in touch with BA coz i believe he still got stock.

Buggers,For this coming event which will be held at Blk 653A Jurong West Street 61,pls be there at 0830hrs for briefing of the route by Goldwingers..they will be the road marshallers for the whole event....

Had complete this project early last year.

Sold it off to a friend of my coz it fixed his very well.

No transistors, juz some resistors.

This project too simple lar... u can find details all over the web.

Now playing with 1 pcs 20W~50W led hehe.

bro heyrul,the event starts in the morning...we'll meet up at 0830hrs at blk 653a jurong west st 61..it will end at 1300hrs as stated by bats...the convoy will start if nt mistaken around 9 plus...so hopefully u'll be there to join us..the more the merrier!!!:thumb:

It was quite sad the other day, I couldn't wake up in time for the convoy... I was soo tired after a week's work that I woke up at 1300hrs on Sunday... Missed the entire event entirely....

Anyway, I've surveyed and got quoted on the items to change on my bike to the Diversion TP handlebar...

 

1. Handlebar $95

2. 'TP' handlebar switch $210

3. Cable throttle $21 x 2 = $42

4. Cable Clutch $35

5. Brake Hoses $220

 

Haven't included labour charge... Any comments? May i know where you got yours installed? I checked at the workshop where the TPs send theirs for servicing... Had my fun with the Police Diversion and Police VFR which was parked there... hehehe!!!! I told the mechanic there that I wanted to convert my XJR into a 'police' version, so he gave me the quotation above...

I bought the handle bar and fixed it myself at motorshop... Think the TP handle bar less than 100bucks! How come they give you till 210bucks? Dun jump to the pool bro... The only prob is ur cables and wires... get the TP handkle from Autocycle and from there we see how...

Somehow, that was wat I tot... That's y I asked you guys (Heyrul and Bats)... I was thinking of juz buying the handlebar, and the switch (the TP one with siren and mic switch) n see from there... Maybe can send to any of the workshops u guys recommend?
