Woke up this morning to discover that my motorcycle seat has one big hole and the foam inside was partially dug out. My motorcycle cover has been torn as well. Most probably the act of stray cats!

 

Where can I repair the seat, or do i need to go back to HL yamaha to buy a new seat?

 

why are so many ppl arguing about who damage the seat?

 

u can try going to eugene saddlery to rewrap the seat...

I may agree on the cats scratching at your seat. But cats are unlikely to be able to cut through your bike cover. If they apply pressure on a bike cover, with nothing supporting it underneath, the cover will weigh down and flex in... not tear thru so easily.

 

Someone probably cut thru the cover and vandalized your seat. Or after he cut the cover, cats got in.

 

I've seen the bike beside me get its seat scratched before. Claw marks. But mine was intact cos I tied my bike cover down tight.

and went off to get lunch..

less den 10 mins later saw a cat on it..

shoo it away den saw very minor and superficial scratch.

I tink u can try put on side stand too...

 

Last time my old bike i use to put on main stand n everytime will see cats sleeping on top of it but after i change to use on side stand didnt really see any cats soon after...

I have a couple of cats at home and to prevent them from scratching , I place a packet of moth balls on the bike seat. So far so good....

 

Maybe it is cause the moth balls smell, unlike our balls, turn the pussies off!

Frankly, I think it was not just a cat that did the damage.

Looks like some "tiger" did the hole in the centre.

Downstair my house got 9 cats... i just kill 1 and put on my bike. from then no cat dare to sleep on my bike anymore......

 

Joking joking. I buy from pet shop a bottle of cat nap and spray on a old pillow and place @ 1 corner. from then onward no more cat sleep on any of the bikes @ my house.

but i think its not cat la... cat scratches are more like puncture marks... looks like someone is seriously very pissed at you lor...
