Its a No-brainer..Just wait till you get licence then ride la..What's the harm in waiting? Good things come to those who wait..

09/07/2009 - Passed 2B TP (10th attempt)

I have tried to see things from your point of view..But no matter how hard I try..Or what I do..I just can't get my head that far up my butt..

wow japsm,

so young want to get your life wasted!!

what "Cause my friend say"

my suguestion is you go meet more new friends, is more fun than

riding without a license.

Be responsible for your life, get a license if you really want to ride.

i have the same impulse like you when i havent got my license, really wanted to borrow my fren's bike to ride. Actually its not sway or not.. come to think of it, with my lack of skill and control at that point of time, i will have met with a accident or buang my fren's bike on the road.

Yes, class 2b license is hard to earn, but its worth every single second of it. Trust me.

Yo japsm. Actually you have no real problem but you are purposely trying to find and create problems if you go and ride a bike without a licence. There are dire consequences WHEN you get caught. I dread to imagine you banging into a pedestrian and killing an innocent life just because you did not learn the necessary skills which are taught in the process of acquiring a bike licence. Now be a good boy and go sign up for your bike licence. If you can pay full cash for the bike, then I see no monetary problem on your part, paying for your bike licence. Don't be a fool and put your future in jeopardy just because you are in a hurry to ride a bike... :goodluck:

First learn stand, then learn fly. Nature's rules biker-sans. Not mine...

If you have the cash, anything is possible. You can get the bike first under your friend's name, that is possible too, as long as your friend is agreeable to it.

When you are riding on the road, your chances of meeting TP are very slim, and when I do see TP on the road, they dont pull me over to check on me for nothing. If you are 'zai', you dont look suspicious, they wont even take a 2nd look at you. Just keep out of the overtaking lane, stay in the 2nd or 3rd lane, the slower lanes, and ride confidently.

Be careful of road blocks, though. If they randomly choose to check on you, you will get caught. Most of the time, I get waved on, because they dont bother to stop me.

You should get your license before riding. It ensures you are certified to ride on public roads. It ensures you have the knowledge and skill to ride safely and not pose a hazard to other road users. :goodluck:

Believe nothing you hear; and only half of what you see.

Do or do not; there is no 'try'.

haha.. i also haf this exact same thought.. but i afraid i might not control the bike as i imagined.. n might cause big accident. not only you will get suspend from taking license.. you will also get your friend(who purchase the bike using ur $) into trouble as well.. lending to a no license person riding bike.. both party gets trouble.. seems not worth..

so just die die get the damn 2b.. n ride all u wan man.. i dying to be 18 den go freaking enrol.. canot tahan liao.. esp if fren let me play bike awhile go carpark 1 rd.. wah shiok like mad.. feel like go until gear 5 n run highway/e'way.. lol

Pls do not so something that is so foolish. There are joys in riding and exhiliration on having the wind blowing in your face, cruising down the e-way.

But there are many dire consequences for riding without a license. Firstly, you may be an excellent rider but who is to say about that? You may have rode on the road plenty of times before but all you need is a single accident to cause harm to yourself and mabby your fren. Remember, you dun need to be the cause of an accident for it to happen.

2ndly, you are not insured. If you happen to injure someone while riding, what will you do? run away or help the person? but with no insurance you will get yourself into trouble. By running away you get into even bigger trouble. Either way you lose big time.

So please think of the consequences before you even decide to do so..... does the pros really outweigh the cons in this situation?

If you really wanna ride without license...........

Hey Bro, i noe it's kind of exciting to ride the bike while waiting to get ur licence.. but do trust some of our riders words here...

it's not worth to ride the bike w/o licence and insurance...Say if a TP were to catch u w/o licence, u can forget about taking any class of licence in the next few years as you are being disqualified.. and on top of that, you have to pay the $$$$ fine and maybe if i'm not mistaken (please correct me here if i'm wrong) you could be jailed...

So think about it Bro, would you take that risk...this is just a case of you being stop by TP, Have'nt put in a scenario whereby you are involved in an accident...so think first aight...

And Those Who Cannot Change Their Mind

Cannot Change Anything.....

japsm, TP are human beings too. some of them are bikers who log into Singaporebikes.com. by posting this question in this forum u have just raise the possibility of youngsters riding without license, therefore adding pressure to the Home Team to put more TPs on the road, adding more road blocks and when accidents happen statistics are goin to show that motorcyclists are becoming more dangerous.

Our garmen will then proceed to imposed more stringent rules and insurance companies are goin to raise insurance premiums for motorcycles AND IT WILL IN THE END AFFECT ALL BIKERS.....

if i leave out anything, all licensed bikers please add-on.....

THINK BEFORE U DO IT....... IT"S NEVER JUST U OR UR FRENS

wah... motorised bicycles can go up to 100km/h? Must be using super air filter...

hahas.. and we, as licensed bikers.. please ride safely.. its true.. if the rate of accident goes up... EVERYTHING WILL GO UP.... the machine price... COE.. insurance.. and the worst part is the younger generations taking class 2B coz their TP will be SOO MUCH MORE HARDER due to the rate of accident...

let us be responsible... for once.. hahas..

I'd rather get a Leo Vince than a Louis Vuitton.

seriously chances of stopping by a tp is really low... i ride more than half a year liao... haven stop by tp before.

but so what if u dun meet tp? u are not only endangering ur own life.. but the lives of others as well. when u dun hav ur license, it just mean that u dun hav the skills to handle a bike.... so plz dun endanger the lives of others...

its better to wait a few months before getting ur license.. rather than living the rest of ur life in guilt.. when any accident happens.

another "my fren say dis my fren say dat" problem..

yo willy83 relax on him man.. i myself went thru this stage when i wanna get a bike desperately.. so i can understand how he feels.. but as again, earning your license is better than riding without 1, it will both endanger your life, and everyone that comes in contact with you. Pls.. get your class 2b license before riding.. Its all worth it.
