BREAK ALL RULES BUT NEVER GET CAUGHT. BETTER NOT TO RIDE FAST OR SPEEDING.

There is a saying in Malay when loosely translated is something like this : As clever as the squirrel is at jumping from tree to tree, finally it will fall to the ground. What it means is that just because someone manages to escape or break the law several times, that does not mean he will NEVER get caught. If not sooner, then definitely later... :help:

Ypu will meet them when you least expect it..Just a few minutes ago on my way home saw a TP at a junction..Because of his presence..This taxi driver (in front) was making a left turn into the main road and the car/vehicle which is on collision course with it was like far away (approx 6secs)..Knowing the TP is at the junction waiting for the green light this taxi driver suddenly stop in its track and I who was behind it almost knocked into him..Thank god I was alert that time..If the same thing happen and the TP wasn't around..I'm sure the taxi would've just moved off not caring if there was pedestrian or oncoming vehicles..To make it better on the next junction this van suddenly whip out water to clean his windscreen while all along knowing I was at his side and might be splashed with the water..Felt like banging on his door or windscreen..But I kept my cool and moved back..Should have gotten a closer look at his plate no..

09/07/2009 - Passed 2B TP (10th attempt)

I have tried to see things from your point of view..But no matter how hard I try..Or what I do..I just can't get my head that far up my butt..

Before he gets caught, his three years suspension period is long over and he got back his licence already. Then he is a qualified rider, how to catch him later? If kana caught then have to go court 21 to answer for it lor.

I do believe fate and karma is very important as my father is also a very fierce rider in the 1950's to 1990's so it is my fate to ride. As for karma, it is my skills and determination to preserve on what my father had taught me to do when riding on the roads. As for licence, it is only a piece of black and white which shown that u know how to ride only. For long term survival on the road, I have to depends on my judgement, skill of high speed cornering and maneuvering, skills to survive strong air resistance, high speed long distance lane-changing and many other factors to survive. NOT ONLY JUST A STUPID PIECE OF BLACK AND WHITE WHICH SHOWS THAT I KNOW HOW TO RIDE ON THE ROAD.

Try to explain this to the TP when in spite of all your judgement, skill of high speed cornering and maneuvering, skills to survive strong air resistance, high speed long distance lane-changing and many other factors to survive, you still get involved in an accident that kill an innocent pedestrian or other road users regardless of whose fault it is. Without the proper licence, insurance does not cover your bike and by breaking the law by riding without a valid licence, you can't even claim from the other party. So just because you are too lazy or stubborn to get that riding licence, guess who is at the losing end in the end??? :help:

Even though I ride fast on JB roads, I do slow riding in SG roads as I have no intention to impress anybody. A bike is meant for travel purpose and not a toy to impress small or young girls.

Yes, it's very seldom that we get stopped and checked on the road. But who can guarantee? And if you get into an accident = YOU ARE FKED.

Most importantly,If you haven't passed, means you aren't yet certified that you can handle the bike. An unlicensed biker poses a danger not just to himself, but all the other drivers/riders around him.

I wouldn't want to meet you on the road.

You may be faster than the wind, but you will never be faster than time.

the threadstarter alreadi dun away or hide liao..?

my advice:

if want buy bike before you get license, simple. Buy the bike, full cash, transfer it to you and LAID it up. Ask the seller to ride you to LTA to do the transfer and laid up, then park the bike at your place. Keys you keep? but can you resist not riding? haha.. maybe go downstairs start your bike, blow blow, go back home? ride around carpark also must becareful.
