truth is both the same... in terms of power both uses identical engine n block. x1r got rear discbrake n looks bigger. but if ur goin fer looks spark would be betta bcoz its got more accesories parts.

X-1R good, I'm riding one!

Sadly I didn't ride a spark before so unable to tell u much...

X-1R got plenty of accessories too, quite a number which can be used on spark too. Power? Hmmm same engine, not sure if there's other different configurations. X-1R sporty look, love the handle bar...

x1r have rear disc brake and spark have rear drum brake. this one to me is very important.

same goes to me, still prefer bike with rear disc brake...

yup Sparkie still much more popular than X-1R, don't really see the "difference" they like bro and bro... but X-1R surely a very fun transport bike!

n btw x1r can install wat pipe ahh? can help me list down..

from wat i see mostly both bike on the road use GPR...so i wonder can install arrow or yoshi or leo vince???

Posted

famous GPR pipe, can be use on Spark too. So far the only street legal pipe.

Yoshimura pipe also got, Norbi pipe, SBK LV not too sure but saw one spark "with" it... or it might just be a label or something.

Pipes?

- GPR

- Nob1 Round

- Nob1 Tri-Oval

- YY Pang

- Yoshimura Fake

- Yoshimura REAL

- Leo Vince

- AHM

- DBS

- Endurance REAL

- Endurance Not so REAL

- ABM

- Konic (Cone Shaped)

- Operated Pipe ('tong' pipe)

- R6 Stock Exhaust (modded to fit)

- Akraprovic Exhaust (Look like cone shape also, modded to fit)

*any more to add?*

these are the after market pipes that can be fixed/used on spark/x1r, but depending on your "balls" size.. only GPR is street legal.

currently riding X1-R but vote for Spark...

difference between them being spark is meant for daily road travel and x1-r is meant for track use, thus explain the varying riding postures...

power wise, even a x1-r modded has a tendency to lose to a stock spark...which tells alot...

brake wise, spark can change to rear disc braking system which is not LTA compliant, so if u buying a new one, u can be free from worries for 3 years...

everything is pretty much the same...make ur decision wisely and dun regret upon purchase...wishing u the best of luck....

Cheers mate!

hmmm..i still confuse on this two bikes in terms of power...both is the same engine right.. so how much diff can it be... only our body posture will affect the speed a lil bit i think. rite? correct me if im wrong.
