They need to make this with a DVR + full 360 camera angles! :deal:

I would be content if it is just with a camera of 120-180 degrees like most in vehicle cam recording whatever I am facing. Most important is the price has to be affordable. Thank you for sharing.

hi bro, very interested in ur solution

how u mount the bike such that no vibration?

i am using sj4000, no matter which side of the fairing i try to mount , sure got vibration

on day, can see number plate, at night cant see at all. nt sure is entirely due to vibration or just the sj4000 night capability not so good compared to the day

anyway how u solve the waterproofing and theft problem, u still leave those 2 camera attach to the bike?

1. I used the adhesive provided in the box. Should be those 3M standard kind of adhesive. Where i had mounted them, i had provided the pics earlier to show the location of the cameras. My bike has a v-twin engine. Personally i think it does vibrate quite alot at standstill. When on the mve.. still ok la.

2. Waterproofing issue, i used Bostik clear sealant and lined all the openings, except the connection points. Those, i have to pray really hard. I had ridden in TORRENTIAL rain before and they worked just fine. Luckily. Theft-issue, no go-around i think. I removed the front cam when i park my bike. Rear camera is quite discreet, so i just left it as it is.

The SJ4000... i still prefer the car DVR instead of that.

nobody take out and get ram base, the worst : its 30$++.

Ram mout haead can be taken out easily and no issue. I do daily twice atleast. After a years, i get ram lock which is more 30$++. It can lock and hard to take out.

Take note that, if a person have intention, the whole bike can be taken. lol.. :cheer:

which part of sj4000 that you didnt like?

for me its the night capability, cant see plate number at night

anyway, my point is, ur vibration of the bike cant be seen on the video recorded, it pretty dam sturdy from what i see

i mount mine using the given sj4000 mount on my mirror, video can see vibration like mad

the tree like doing kalang wave trololo

I am using the SJ4000 brake reservoir with the short composite arm by ram mount.

I have to lower the composite arm so that it perpendicular with the brake reservoir mount to reduce the vibration. If not the video will become blurred whenever I squeeze the throttle.

Looks like this thread is dying already~
In a way it is good. Meaning no more 'stunt' emcountered. Or maybe they are busy trying to rig a better recording equipment.

This could be the solution to rain proof car cams.

Saw it selling at $40. For a small bottle at horme hardware.

Ebay selling at $20+ direct from russia.

There are a few out there. This is one of them. But most will require to be shipped here. http://

Would be great for visors. Mind sharing where is horme hardware?

Opposite starhub green at ubi

Does this repel water efficiently too? Would be great if it does. Something good for the visors.

No this stuff will not work on visors. I believe it will leave an oily residue much like wd40.

I use silicone paint sealant on my visor and windshield. Works well to bead up water droplets. Not as good as rain x on glass. But so far this the best solution.

Thank you for the information.

Going to use it for rear cam to mount on my num plate, the SJ4000 will be the front cam.

Video taken with mobius on helmet.

Mobius mounted under rear box rack

I am using mobius action cam too. Your video seem to be very smooth as in no shaking, what mount did you use?

Also, i uploaded videos to youtube, but youtube encoding suddenly make my video darker than usual. Do you do anything before uploading to youtube?

Here is my video.
