higher rise handlebars give u a more upright posture during riding...

longer ones makes the bike more sensitive...

u want to entrust ur life on a $15 no brand handlebar? i wouldnt.

those who have colored bars usually use protapers for scrams.FYI

What the fcuk are u talking about ??

What has that got to do with a $15 handle bar ??

We are not talking about tyres or brakes etc ok.

Furthermore Pro Taper only comes in 2 colours Silver or Gold.

The funny coloured ones are made by Renthals.

Oh and since u talking about safetly.

I strongly suggest u stick with stock handle bars by Honda.

Why ? Cuz the Pro Taper bars are thicker and longer (ala John Holmes) and thus creates a longer turning radius.

And if u are going to suggest cutting the bars shorter u'd risk weakening the bar itself.

Oh a one more thing, in order to use Pro Tapers on CB400SF, u need to drill mounting holes for the switches.

So think before suggesting using an almost $200 bar rather than a $15 ah boy bar !

Cheers !

Actually Honda's stock handlebar ain't super-strong either. My granddad's Vtec's bar was bent when the bike just went over on its right side.

longer ones makes the bike more sensitive...

Thats where you're wrong. Steering becomes less sensitive when the bar gets longer cos you have to go a bigger radius to turn but the advantage is that you are more stable when you do your turn.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

i'm not suggesting that they buy a $200 bar.

i'm simply emphasizing the importance not getting el cheapo bars which may not have been treated properly and may break without warning after repeated impacts/vibrations.

Re : Handlebar that is comfortable for long distance

Anyone replaced your stock S4 handle bar to other type of handlebar?

During riding, felt aching on my wrist even for short distance travelling...felt a bit sianz.....on my S4. :faint:

I know some of the S4 biker has change to a wider scrambler handlebar but the feedback was not so good. Anyone change to a more relax position handlebar which is suitable for long distance travel?

Thgt of some handlebar to replace.

1.CB750

2. Deauville 650

3. Divy 900

4. phamton 150

Any good recommendation and any feedback for those who has already replaced one?
