To my Dear brother:

You will never be alone.... I'll carry on what's that u have left behind... I am honoured to lead the convoy today to Mandai crematorium, but it's not the last ride, U ride with me always...

I nearly wanted to give up track after this incident, but after hearing what your mum have said to me today, i decided to pick myself together, and complete what that's undone.... May you rest in peace, and bless all the love ones here....

She told me Marcus would love to see us carry on what we used to do, cos life still have to go on... But she advise us take extra precautions...And while she was telling me all this words, i could sense that she was really hurt inside, even though she put on a smile.... It's so heart-breaking after listening to her... That's why i decided to keep Marcus spirit going on, even though he is physically not with us.

Yes, Marcus would be upset to know if we give up track. For a person like Marcus whom I had ever discuss the idea of racing for fun, I would say he want us to ride, but with more precautions. Fast or slow, up to individual's comfort zone, but safety is number 1 priority.

I feel that it has become our responsibility to voice out on bad track etiquette. Marcus adopt the leg out before pit in after he came back from Sepang, and I learn that from him. It is also important to inform everyone when we bring new riders to the track, so not only us, but everyone would look out for the new rider. This practise had faded since I started to the time I left SG....there is no shame in admitting a noobie status, everybody is one before.

Let's fly Marcus Color with pride.

Suspension working well if a tad too soft in front. After this morning's session, its back in shop again. Think the carb jettings need changing, way too much 2T leaking from the exhaust.

Freaking Italians!

That's why I keep resisting Husqvarna's seductions...she told me I could have her for free as long as I take good care of her, ya right! I know that is not gonna sound as sweet as she puts it.

I will date Italians when my pockets are deeper. I guess in the mean time, Japanese girlfriends are as asphalt sexually satisfactory, dun kill you when dining out, and have a more affordable taste for jewelery and clothes.

Hilary, this is the guy whom I swap the clutch cover with when I took over your bike?

Yes, it is him. I really thank him for the effort to meet you and settle the swap on my behalf. He was so accommodating, and no questions about it when the clutch cover had to be swapped back.

Keep him in your prayers!

Remember the bike you now ride used to race alongside with him in PG, always.

Thinking of going to get the 'flowers' decal tomorrow at the Ducati shop and also leaving my bike for some servicing..

Is the latter (leaving the bike there...) a good, bad or ridiculous idea?

Also, is there a recommended person to speak to there regarding these servicing work?

Mine is the 748 took over from NoLogic...

Currently about 87000 km on the clocks.

Nothing really done since I got the bike except for topping up the EO and battery water.

I am not sure what kind of servicing should I be doing but I am thinking of asking them to do a 10000km servicing... Any idea how much it will cost?

Also thinking of changing tires.

Any recommendations for semi road/track tires? Will I save any money by going to other shops for this or it is almost the same??

I use the bike like 95% road and maybe 5% track atm... (ratio could go either way)

and I dont mind paying more for better grip.

Thanks in advance for all advices!
