if u believe in the brand , u need to get in there as early as possible,i got my 1st ducati , a 916 bp , it takes me ages to get used to it , sometimes it makes me wonder , i should get a smaller duke to acclimatize.

a pretty bad start to any organised ride?when a few droplets starts when i flip up my bike cover,but as they says the show must go on.i grit my teeth(not easy, cause never like to dirty my bike)& show up in newton circus,early! (as usual)

apparently,after a wet & eventful ride to our destination,they so kang chiong to dismount nearly brought d bike plus rider&pillion down.

u run thru d video a couple of time,u 'll noticed most of us including me(i'm filming)stays on the middle lane & even signal when we filter ,to me the part dats a bit rough is d 848 taking on the lexus!anyway thanks for highlighting & hope u come down in 1 of our many events as u might 've noticed its all free & easy stuff , u can stay for a minute or two or longer,we juzz love to meet u & hope to move u guys away from yr laptop or what 've u !

Hi Guys,

 

have a question (will try to keep it short)

 

i have been wanting to get a bike in SG, ever since i came.(i am from Malaysia btw)

The bike i have been considering to get has always been a Yamaha R6 (new $23++). However, I have discovered that a Ducati 848 (new $34++) is reasonably priced in Singapore.

 

With the pricing gap not that far apart, I really need to give this due consideration. At 11K more, i can get a DUCATI which is a higher CC bike..

 

So my questions are:

1) any cons of the bike i should know about before i commit? (been watching so many Youtube reviews and i still can't come to a conclusion)

2) Is it expensive to maintain an 848?

 

Appreciate your help and opinions on this matter, thought it would be good to hear from the riders themselves.
