What's up guys!

Here's a short video of me and my mate's short ride.

Taken by GoPro960.

Hope you like it!

Ride safely guys!

BE A TRUCK, BE A BICYCLE. (i.e. Occupy your space like a truck driver, but concede like the bicyclist). Loving my new ride, 03-15-09!

i need new rubber!! i've read decent reviews on michelin's power pure and 2ct tires.. anybody has any comments on them, especially on local roads? I only ride street, no track.

or any other tires to recommend? grip is primary as I ride in the wet at times.. any advise appreciated :)

me on Power 2ct, no complaint for normal street use.

When is the next meet-up by the way?

This sunday. PM Fesa for details?

The supercorsas are **** in the wet.

how true. Goes to show that all consumer advice should be taken with a pinch of salt.

great, will consider between the sportec m5 (5 compound i presume?) and the 2ct..

thanks all for the suggestions!! i've been fishtailing too much with my current battlax, think its time to swap them out

Remember that there is no such thing as "Best Tire". By now you'll have got all or enough tips from the folks here. What works for them may not work for you and vice versa. You'll need to be able to obtain feedback from the tire you're using. If you can't, then maybe the tire is not suitable for you.

I just change the M5 on my R1. The tyres provide enough feedback to gain enough confident for me on all corners...

I personally like the 999 look too. It's unique. The meters are unique. But when it was first launched, it almost caused the collapse of Ducati. As t28 says, it's a like it or hate it kind of design

just to add my 2 cents....

I think for someone who is new to Ducati, the 749/999 looks are quite acceptable cos i was looking at a 999s when looking for my 1st duc. However, at that time i did not come across one with a condition that made me want to buy it.

The looks is either you love it or hate it, but it's still a bonafide Duc no less. The Testastretta V-twin, the trellis frame, the dry clutch, marchesini rims, brembo brakes, and Ohlins for the S models. It's supposed to be more comfy to ride than the 916 series, and it is as reliable as the guy who takes care of it.

Take your time, come join us for meetups and learn more about various models before you decide. I wished i had done so before buying my 1st duke....

I think its flat fee of 11. I checked for both of my class 2 bikes. Both still 11. One is 1000cc. The other is 700cc.
