If u got boots, gloves, full face and armour jacket will do... But of cos recommended full leathers lah...

I might be heading down on Sunday as well but depends on weather...

I don't recommend wearing jeans. Seen too many SG riders fall at PG wearing jeans with severe rash injuries.

went motoworld to purchase the scorpio alarm i900 but it seems like their mechs are unable to fix it due to some encryption problem (not exactly sure why they can't thou).

i am thinking it could be their units problem, i'm wondering should i go ahead and place an order via scorpio direct (i900R model instead + ducati 1098s connector kit) and get minerva to install for me.

one question, will minerva provide installation for aftermarket alarm system?

hi is anybody using the schuberth c3?

is the one thats being sold at minerva worth the $1300 price tag? its got the ducati logo on... but with rachet instead of d-rings... so no PSB..

pls enlighten me...

the schuberth is a very expensive helmet but a very trick one indeed, the price tag of $1300 you see is due to the branding. I would get one if not for the absurd price and the lack of seat time on my bike of late. Cheers.

I still have my SRi900 scorpio that was installed on my 1098S. PM me if you're keen.

FYI Minerva are quite touchy about installing aftermarket alarms. For my case, they worked as they should till the time I let her go.

Flush all the fluids!!! NOW!!Oil, coolant, brake and clutch fluids....everything! Don't ride it any more till you do. and change the timing belts!

Serious safety issue if you do not do this immediately.

Check the entire engine for oil or fluid leaks. Some seals/gaskets will probably need replacing

If i were you I would seriously look into changing the tyres as well.

The coolant lines might have dried out and become brittle. not to mention the wiring. have them all checked by someone you trust

Ducatis are generally reliable but if you let something spoil, the repair cost will not be easy to swallow.

I can't say this enough, go get the work done on it ASAP. I'm seriously worried for your safety if you keep riding it like that.

Once its all sorted THEN you can ride the crap out of it:angel:

you can service your own fork if you are brave enough, you just need a fork cap tool for the ohlins.

there are a few ducs around in the west. Some SFs, a few 1098/848. Ride around and you might just bump into them.

drain the tank and actuate your fuel pump. Flush your rad and check your water pump. Change your oil too. Your tires would have flat spots (change them) and your brake/clutch fluids would be not road worthy. Oil in fork would need replacement too. All this could be done yourself so no need to go to a shop to do it.

Hi guyz, my bike just reached 24K mileage. I understand that i need to do valve clearance and change timing belt. How much will it cost and how long will it takes? Any other recommended shop beside minerva? As the waiting time is long for me. Thanks in advance.
