Hey guys, quick qns. I'm using an arrow slip on, will it affect my engine if I just take out one silencer?

sat i went down and see, they show me the wiring got cutted & soldering before. therefore there might be the reason why my ECU can't be detectable now. now they have to order new set of wire harness to replace my bike and see if the ECU can detect anot and then check the rest of the problem.

hmm if really instrument panel is the problem for the error, can i buy any 2nd hand 749 instrument panel and replace or have to be the same model year back?

do you have to pay for the wiring harness and if that doesnt work, do u have to pay harness as well as the panel?

sounds like a very expensive problem

i don't think they will charge us if replacement part is not done. i got ask them before regarding the ECU if purchase from them but if it still doesn't work will still charge me anot, they say no but somehow they will try to make it yes if it really work. anyway i found a spare ecu so i no need to worry for now and hopefully that spare works on my bike. seem like my bike is the unluckiest to have this kind of problem.

To the ducati rider number plate FBH 1030R heading towards pie changi airport about 3.45pm , Just a kind reminder you're riding a new bike ever thought of the consequences if you bang into my motorcycle with the way you cut across to overtake me ?

If you feel you have the skill to ride the way you're riding just now why don't you buy a racing suit and head up north to the track to test out your skill ?

:)

I was browsing and was just wondering why my plate is reflected!?

Few things to address,

1st: plate is new, bike is almost 6 years old already. Should be around the same as Talking cock. So nothing to show off and definitely not trying to;

2nd: I really don't remember cutting people recklessly, and more so for a Ducati........Ducati not easy to cut unless yours is not, I really don't remember.

However if it really is, I might probably overdo it the other day as I am catching a flight. I'm sorry if i have caused unhappiness; HM hard to tame at times;

3rd: Never been up North before, no racing suit, racing boots.......just a full face, pair of decent gloves and ya, bike;

Cheers and good day to all Duc' riders!

Just wondering which model has the loudest Clutch Rattle noise?

Any bike which has a close to worn out clutch basket will give you the loudest noise.

The work begins....

IMG-20130516-01026.jpg

Changing the OEM fairing for these China ones as well as replacing the tank with a new red one I sourced online.

Also have china front/rear lights as well as adjustable rear-sets.

IMG-20130328-00919.jpg

I am also installing a Motowheels 30mm triple clamp, 2x 4Kam HD cameras, DVR, PZRacing datalogger and mirror block-off plates.

Still waiting on the rear adjuster rod and EVR slipper to arrive as well as a set of adjustable bars.

Once it's all done and I get some expert help in setting up the suspension I'll immediately come to the following realisations:

-that I'm a crap rider (no bike excuses)... actually, I already know I'm crap and the triple/slipper is to help for my poor technique

-that a red bike with red wheels looks terrible (have been searching for a good'n cheap set of wheels to fix this)

SBSSAR, good decision to have aftermarket fairing.

There are no crap riders, only those who have learned and those who have yet to learn!

30mm triple, cameras, dataloggers, race fairings and blockoff plates? Sounds to me like you're heading to track, if so, you'll be learning real quick!

If you are interested in a set of R swing arm, you can change your swing arm to mount up my set of gold oz piegas. If your triple clamp can fit the 53/56 then you can have my FG511. If you want to change rear shocks, you can have my ttx r.

I have a complete set of R parts if you need. Just drop me a PM (only thing not for sale R (pun intended) the frame and engine) rest will go.

So my cheapo china fairing/lights/rearsets are installed... can definitely tell the quality difference from OEM but good enough for track usage.

White is before and red is now: (red bike and red wheels is not so good so looking for black)

I have a camera on the front left and a camera on the rear left.

I am using 4kam bullet cameras -still playing with the settings on the DVR as currently I find the colours a bit dull compared to a GoProHD.

hello again guys, it seems that my 848 evo aint happy with me. firstly thanks for helping out previously. Now it seems that my gear lever is stuck =[ . While i was moving into the multistorey carpark, dropped down a couple of gears and suddenly realised that my lever was stuck downwards, dont know which gear. bike is able to move if i play with the clutch while moving off however there is a clacking sound like something trying to engage or disengage. but not able to change to any gear. anyone experienced this before? would gladly like to hear possibilities before calling up for tow back to minerva. thanks.
