Pros VS Cons

cl2 bike lookalike___target for theives

Great FC___wussy power

poser factor___too ex for underpowered bike

In my opininon, no point paying so much for this bike while the money can be better spent on a class 2A or 2 bike.

i think get r150 more worth it..

r150 look more natural than an r6 wannabe with cheap looks.

just need to change the rear lights.

cheaper some more.. machine around 5k

wat i would like to do is put a p-plate on an r6 just to take the piss out of others.. haha

Agreed with the rest here. It definitely looks like its brother, the YZF-R6.

It begets appeal, which I think should shy people away from modding their Yamaha bikes to make it look like a big bike and make them think twice. Examples include the sharp-tail mod on a TZM, and other bike brands too. Pretty cool target market, injecting these replica 150 bikes into South East Asia, where the majority of folks here ride lower CC bikes.

Side note: I see more and more of these road-sportsbikesters on the road, and they seem to be overshadowing the Daelim Roadwin R's on the road. Not bad for a small bike like that.

it looks cheap and budget.

especially if you compare "build quality" with aprilia and cagiva.

for me thai made sp/kr has better finish.

As a X-1R rider, I find the power to weight ratio good (serve me well as a good transport CUB). The initial pick up from stationery is good. From the figures, maybe YZF-R125 catch up after a long run? (at times subjected to individual rider)

Nibble and easy to go about... ^.^

But comparing this two kind of "unfair" as one is CUB, the other Sports Commuting bike.

Two different league.

this bike look damn big in person. but I wonder how would the new owner feel aft blown away by a cubkia when the light turn green at the junction?

Dun waste time n money n dun try to bluff urself u wanna ride long.

btw, if wan get cl2, get the litre bike. a 600 will nv give u the kick of the litre bike.

0-100 in below 3 secs. Full throttle on 1st will make ur front wheel fly. 1st gear to red line will reach 160+km/h.

I got an 04r1 last yr dec 2008 for only 11k machine price.

Den I sold off this yr april 2009 for 9.5k.

Insurance isn't that ex imo. 1300+ for tpft. Last time, ard my age, insurance for a litre bike is 2-3k!!!

summary, do u still think spending 10over thousands on a 125 is worth the money?

4stroke summore.

Last time we dun have much 4stroke 2b bikes when we have our 2b. Only, rs125, extrema or replica, tzm, 150sp or mito3/5/7. that was 2002 den.

tho these small 2 strokes rocket can hit 160kmh to 190kph stock, they were still consider slow when we lay our hands on the cbr and rvf.

I really can't imagine the r125's performance.

The smallest cc 4t I've rode b4 is the x1r. 1 word, sucks!

I LOVE my R1!!!:shades:

i ride a r125 and im proud of it. been blown at junctions at all sorts of bikes so far, kups, kawas, sp with their gf pillions seem to be the most common. one particular kawa rider was so engrossed in vrooming ahead of me he almost got into an accident.

the bike corners nicely, has a good FC, gets me from point A to point B and doesnt "look cheap in person". works for me.

all the hating isnt really necessary. :)

that's the most impt pointer for a rider, kudos to your statement and attitude ;)

bumped into one on AYE today, like the whole bike design. but i still find the rear tire a little skinny for my liking. perhapes too used to seeing my bro's RS125 and using that as a benchmark :o

R125, pretty nice actualli...

Don't tink it looks cheap...heafty price tag with that beauty.

ANywaes, war between 2b 2strokers and 4strokers have been goin on so long...

Even wit me and my frens...+ father....well i just find 4 stroke easier on wallet...just oil change and spark plug...no 2t hassle...well guess its preference, just my 2cents.:)
