If only honda would give a facelift to super4 to look as hot as this.

i cant stand the look of the super4, ugly front.

no offense to super4 lovers.

I realize that jap likes to make old skool model bike under the street bike category. But the round head lamp is soooo attractive!

If only superfour were to have this facelift....

frm what i see...its an upgrade of the twister

up till now super four still looks nice wor... maybe I still lurve that old skool look of it =)

bike is a machine without soul, rider would inject new life and character to this machine

Why make a 300cc machine, the cosmetics and style of the bike can just be implemented on the vtec revo or newer. Haiz what are they driving at. Coz if in SG market i think most 2a people will want a 400cc machine rather then 300. Just very weird of honda.

But i really love how it looks like cb1000R i love that bike.

i also hate the looks of the front of s4..

theres always the option of changing the headlight :)

all headlights that i have seen pple installing on their s4 so far dun look nice to me as well..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

I think the perception that people want a 400 cc bike when they have have class 2A is not totally correct. It is because the bikeshop keep on pushing the 400 cc ,4 cylinder inline,e.g Super4(no offence)and keep on saying "what for take 250 might as well take 400cc". I myself have ridden super4 and the cost of maintaining the bike is high . The maintenance,rd tax, insurance cost is another factor you have to count in.

I,m now riding twister 250 , with exceptionally good performance and low fuel consumption, the cost of running only 1/3 of super4 is much cheaper. If cb300r come to singapore I would definitely buy.(anyway it comes to personal preference, actually my sentiment were shared by few of my riding kakis):p

It all comes down to a power vs cosmetics perspective.

You buying a power bike to thrash, or a pretty but weak bike to pose?

Future..... copied wheel, frame and exhaust wit slight cosmetic changes from FT500.

History.... 80s FT500

Interesting Recession's Proof Bike.

Honda is fortunate to have such a wide range of well tested engine designed.

CB300R is like a old wine in a new bottle.

Back in the 80s. FT500 was one of the few Honda's tested big single.

Now, almost 2010, a smaller engine sized, and maintaining the Hp to about FT500 level make good sense to reintroduced a good basic bike to the world. The future is bright for this pedigree, starting from low base of 300cc air cool. It may take another 30yrs to work itself towards, 350cc, 400cc, 450cc, 500cc, 550cc, 600cc and 650cc. Liquid cool, rear disk, UDF are optional goodies when the economy is better.

The timing is perfect during this economic cycle, to intro Cb300R. As years goes by. The cycle will be getting shorter. Thus economic factors may narrow choices towards basic bikes like Cb300R. It has the potential to attract the messes like Honda Wave at the right price.

I m optimistic to see Cb300R OTR. Somebody will bring it here. Be it agent or non-agent, i don't care.
