Can't visualize how. You need something to grip the thread. Even with the c wrench it takes a fair bit of strength. Try lab for the toolkit?

Don't. As much as there are a lot of claims that it smoothen the ride, engineering principle says it'll soil the piston and firing chambers

Hi All,

How long does your headlight bulb last? I got one from Planet Motor for $4 and it lasted 6 months. Used to get a $2 one which lasted 3 months only. Not sure if this is normal or is there something wrong with my Phantom's circuit. Any recommendations for light bulbs which lasts longer? (I ride about 1200km a month). Thanks!

The current one I am using is an original bulb. Since Nov 2013. Still going strong. I travel about 300km every 4 working days. so its about 1500km per month.

The "chiong" type that cost a dollar or so you can see the obvious difference in manufacturing. I don't quite like the hassle of opening up my headlight all the time to change bulbs. Especially if its just one of the filaments burning out all the time.

Original lightbulbs goes for $5.50 to $6.00 a piece at FJT/ Eversuccess/ Everfit. See how many you buy and if bought with other items might get you a better discount.

One tip is to not hold the bulb with your fingers but a cloth when installing.

Hey guys ! Would like to ask for recommendations for tyres. My bike have a tendency to be slippery but when I see my tyre, it look damn brand new. My brother said that the tyre is those hard kind and will always look brand new but is no good.

Any recommendations for tyres ?

Phantom (mine's TA200) has a greater tendency to skip/slip.....at least for me. You will get a feel of how safe it is after a while (a few years for me but I am slow). So E-brake, how much you can lean into a corner at what speed involves many factors and it takes quite some time to get a feel of such things.

I had fished tailed a few times and I thought I know my girl quite well after riding a few years. Then, one day while cornering on a red-painted road, I went rubbing against the tarmac.

So the more type of road conditions you are exposed with your girl, the better you will be at handling her. Be extra mindful and alert when encountering the unknown/unfamiliar the first time. If you feel your bike slip and/or lost control for a moment, try to stop somewhere safe and analyse why? Don't just say, "lucky me", move on and forget about it. Next time, you may not be so lucky.

Good luck and safe riding.

Can anyone tell me roughly how to remove the exhaust pipe? I want to sand away the rust at the bottom.

I just sent my phantom to Ah-Koon at Lengkok Bahru last week, he de-rust the exhaust header and paint it with high-temp paint all for $20.
