License plate bulb Is a T10 bulb...u can get it anywhere as long as its automotive shop it'll sell... price from $1-$5 also have....

Really ar? Phantom must have 6th gear de har? My one all along only 5 gears only, and today when i try 5th gear speed > 92km/hr, I can feel its like vibrating hard le (some gear grinding sounds occur), and when it reaches 100km/hr, vibration is more, and bike speeds seems to be inconsistent, like no strenght like that, i just overhauled only, these really scares me..any idea why?? :(

 

the gear 5 is damaged... do NOT use it ever again... I would recommend you to send the bike to planet and let ah chong ride it... he should be able to confirm it...

 

looks like the mech who overhauled your bike didn't do a proper job... :sian:

phantom got 6 gear.. if you use your bike now.. your gear will chip and damage your whole engine block.. then it's overhaul time for u again.

 

you can skip gear 5 and use gear 6... but still... it would be best that you get this issue resolved quickly... or else a very serious problem is going to show up...

Oh My! this really scares me..all along i thought my phantom only got 5 gears...

 

omg. if somehow you cannot kick up to gear 6... something is really wrong... but are you very sure that you did not miscount the number of gears...?

I immediately go and test and count my gears just now.

 

However, I experience 6th gear 92-98km/hr got some grinding sounds, and during 100km/hr, sound no more, and when i throttle harder, bike seems like a little bit jerking, and vibration comes in...is it normal?

 

I still dont dare to zhua the throttle fully cuz piston still very virgin.

 

wonder what is the highest comfortable cruising speed of phantom?

 

when i mean comfortable, it means like no much vibration, and engine like not jerky, no funny sound as if the engine is reaching the limit.

ok... it is a relieve to hear that your bike does have 6 gears... since your engine is recently overhauled... I guess you would need to let the engine run-in first... after the run-in you can change to a quality fully synthetic engine oil... the engine should feel smoother...

 

there isn't really a highest comfortable cruising speed... since phantom does vibrate a lot... its a matter of personal preference I guess...

 

still... it would be good to let dr chong ride your bike... just to confirm that the gears are ok and that your level of vibration is normal...

you can modify your exhaust pipe... to make it into a "tong" pipe... but of course it would not be legal anymore...

 

 

 

maybe you can assemble your toolkit at a dit shop... or mustafa...

 

if your bike has no gear 5 & 6... yes it is probably very chui... the repairs would cost maybe $500...?

my gear 5 can hit 80 + -

gear 6 can hit 140 leh.. LOL.

personally 90km/hr is the good speed... But now your's is a virgin engine, i suggest you stay to 70-80km/hr can le.. dun screw your bike so fast ;-)

jyea, travelling is ok for me.

tampines to jurong only 15-20mins for me.. lol.

how much wld it cost t tong th pipe from planet,

nd t not be so noisy, i shall ask everything at one go.

 

how much is it going t cost?

how long will th whole precess of tong-ing take?

do thy get it done on th spot or id hav t wait a few days befor collection?
