I am a regular blood donor and the worst side effect I ever got was bruises at the site of donation. As my veins are small the nurse had to poke and poke, causing the bruises.

 

Things like getting fat is not true. More like you want to "chiak por" after donation and ate too much food to replenish your blood... how not to get fat like that

Wow thanks! Now that I know that there's one at Gek Poh Ville CC this sat I will make a trip down.. Outram is just way off for me.

 

It doesn't help you lose weight but does donating blood in any way "clenses" your blood?

In a way YES.. new blood cells are being build in your body.
