Hello Owners,

Anyone has spare bracket for the headlight assembly?

Ok that sounded like real english..

sorry i mean, anyone got the black metal bracket that hold ur headlight to the bike not? err the one with its two nuts directly in front of ur fuel tank? Anyone? Please? No? Yes? N/A? :weep:

Slackbike, u go where & wat time? I might be going 2nd link.

You refering to the black bracket on top of your fuel tank that hold your head fairing OR the one behind your headlight which hold on to your main frame?

sigh... my bike seems better now suddenly after one night was dragging it at gear 2 when the exhaust pipe went "poom poom poom pok pok" after closing throttle at high rev.

wat is crank btw? n abt how much is cost of new batt? engine seems to be sloppy n gear change not so smooth.. probably cuz engine oil.. mine is maxima semi syn.. i clocked 2400km since the change. piston shouldnt jam is i change oil around 2800km rite? still safe?

thanks guys..

Might want to check your chain slack and lube your chain. An overly slack and underlubricated chain gives the impression that the engine is sloppy with poor shifting. An engine itself should not feel sloppy with the 20W50, it is thick. Hope this helps, I myself always amazed how much shifting has improved when I adjust and lube the chain, same feeling as you when chain is the problem, 'engine is sloppy'.

if ur black bracket is dented badly or damaged.. i think u can go to any shop ask them bend back in shape.. its not dat bad.. if im not wrong unless ur going at very high speed would the bracket be a safety hazard.

the tubing acts sorta like a ventilation for the tank when gets too hot (i think) vaccum of some related sort. (guys correct me if im wrong)

Think the "RAM" air tubes just directs cool air from the front part of the bike to the region round the airbox so that it can have cool air intake. :cheer:

I think the bracket you refering to is called the fairing stay. The head fairing and the side mirror secure to it rite??

well the bkack tubing acts as a breather for the tank.. when it gets hot, fuel evaporates thru this little hole.. if not pressure will build up in the tank...
