All plugs are the same but I have preference for Denso..don't waste $s on Iridium unless u do lots of non stop long distance trips..standard will do as there is no difference when comes to performance according to the manufacturer "White Paper".

erm, i have change my spark plug, bike could start normally, everything is cool, but bike will still sometime die of when i blow the throttle. anybody know why? thanks

Can anyone here tell me why there is abnormal noise coming out from the engine. This occurs when i have rode a certain distance. At first i suspect it was the fan that is emitting the sound. However after some look here and look there, it was not the case. Anyone can advise me?

sorry bro, i can't comprehend. is it like rattling sound? If yes, it's normal due to valve clearance.

How to verify if the S4 is spec 1 if there are no sign of indication on the exterior (speedo and fairing)??

Is is true that spec 1 only produced till FQ plate??

Can anyone advise me why the bike feels very light on the front end after i upgraded to a 45l topcase with no load, as compared to my previous 42l box with full load.

Steering is wobbly especially with load in it. Cone bearings have been changed recently before i bought the new box.. anymore that can be done to eliminate the light and wobbly feeling, pls advise. Thanks..

Bigger box hav higher aerodynamic friction, for improvement;

1) adjust box leveling. (Ensure box base plate leveling parallel to ground).

2) install windshield will be more effective.

1. Have already adjusted box in such a way that it is more closer to the center, instead of hanging too far out behind the tail.

2. Windshield is already installed before the box upgrade.

Did a test run. So far handling improved. No wobbly front when deccelerating. Havent tried higher speed turning and riding with pillion.

Thanks for your inputs. :)

Hi friends,

my BlueFlame arrived today at work! Couldn't wait so I used the tools provided in the CB400 and started to work on it ASAP.

First impressions of the exhaust was very light compared to stock. Installation was quite straight forward. However, not sure if I've aligned it properly since it's very close to the suspension springs. Stazza, how's yours? Maybe it's my specific model compared to your Dual Outlet.

All in all, I'm very happy with the BlueFlame Power gains? Can't tell so much, probably because it needs a retune or something but I can definitely feel the bike pull away once VTEC kicks in after mid range. Wonder how it will go after tuning. One little gripe is that the badge logo appears to be a cheap sticker plastered on. Have heard customers ordering badges from BlueFlame for replacement. Hopefully it won't peel off due to exhaust heat, rain, dirt, wind, etc...

It's also VERY bassy. Not overly loud, but loud enough to keep those cagers at bay. I still have the baffle in it, will post a video tomorrow with it off soon! Definitely recommend this slip-on for the price. I was considering and Akra/Yoshi but the price and comments received made this a clear winner. In mean the time, video below!

Hello S4 Riders... I'm currently a new rider, been riding my scooter for 1.5 years and going to upgrade to a super 4 known to its reliability and I'm looking for a long term transport/fun bike.. May I ask you guys senior here what to look out for/check when it comes to getting a used Spec 2/3? 1 thing I know is to look for it's physical leaks but how? Literally check the exposed engine area, exhaust headers for leaks right? Thanks for helping me in advance~!

My advice if getting a s4 get a first hand one to rebuilt a second hand one can cost u almost to new s4 cos parts n repair for s4 can cos u a bomb n u will regret it. Unless u super damn lucky got a good condition
