Hi All,

I'm from Kuala Lumpur and currently riding spec 2. I've a big problem. I 've lost my keys. Is there any way I can get the new set with the new HISS ? For those who has duplicated the keys at boon siew, do they need anything other than the keys? Please share cos I'm hardly find any shop that can replace \ re-create the key here in Kuala Lumpur..thanks for the replies.

Hi, i plan to duplicate it in the next few days, from the old post it can be done at few major bike shop and it cost around $50 to $80 per key, that was based on few years back. I asked a key shop at JB and it cost RM800, crazily trying to cut throat!

What i know is, if you lost both of your keys, that's the worst case scenario, you need to change the motherboard and new set of keys, if not mistaken it cost more thank $500 or more. If you still have a spare key, you can duplicate it but there are a limit you can duplicate, not sure S4 i think is 8 but for example Suzuki bike is 4(2 orginal + 2 duplicate) only.

Many years back I rode my bike there plus the key. $60 then if I didn't remember wrongly. The tech there brought the blank key to another place to cut it.

I've got a 2006 spec3 bold or just had the carbs cleaned and a new battery .noticed lately when vtec starts the bike kinda of hesitates and shutters then clears up and runs fine .i also noticed it happens more often after the bike warms up .not sure if it's a electrical problem or carb related any insight on this type of problem will be helpful to me in diagnosing the problem thanks
