Need help from all bros. I'm lacking and unable to find an engine lower case. Thats all i need for my bike to be up and running again. Got involved in an accident abt a year ago and wish to ride once again.

Got a spec2, converted to spec3 tail.

 

The previous owner has this seat this is very not comfort for rider and pillion.

 

For pillion, always slip infront, the angle is very sporty.

 

Do you guys face the same issue? is there a seat that is more comfort as in better for pillion.

When the engine gets hot after riding, then i off

The engine for a short while between 1-10 mins

Mayb for pump petrol or whatever. I cant start the

Engine immediately, it kept on cranking n cranking sound

Of engine but did not start, only sometime it started...

Btw when engine is cold, thers no issue of starting the bike.

I juz change engine oil m spark plug..

Any riders here know the reason and tell what is wrong?

What u can do is to wrap a anti slip at auntie. Around 70 bucks. I got the same issue as you too

Its normal. Its just that the engine is hot

It's the same for my bike. Experts told me it's normal, just need to open throttle abit then can start.

from what i see it seems like your engine carb is 'flooded' with petrol.

what i suggest is check your engine idling petrol knob (the one that controls your rpm when you are idling). if this doesnt help at all then you can consider going for carb tuning to make sure your air/fuel ratio is correct.

Wanted to check with fellow S4 riders... do you normally "harden" your rear shocks?

 

A few times i went over the hump in the car park a little fast with pillion and the bottom of the bike touched the hump. total weight prob about 110kg for rider + pillion...

 

Its currently at default setting...

nope, actually it's your front shocks that is causing your exhaust to hit the hump. previously my front shock was slightly lowered and it hits the hump easily, now i have risen it back and it doesn't happen anymore. plus if the hump is really big there is no way you can avoid that unless you stand up when you go over the hump hahaha.

Hi guys, seems like my Spec 2 too having the same issue. Speedo works for atlas 2-4 mins, then it died. spoke to some mechanics, they mentioned could be either meter or sensor issue. Sensor change can cost up to $100+++..

 

Anyone knows how to repair on our own?

I recently went to Tanjong Katong Complex with my wife on a weekend. We parked the bike at the open carpark only to find it on the ground when we came back. There were so many Filipinos sitting there but everyone say they never see how it happened. So annoying.

 

Now my balancer broke including the rod inside the handle that holds the balancer.

 

Anyone can recommend a good shop to get my handle changed with a new balancer.

checking with all the senior s4 rider,

 

currently having problem starting the bike. it has crank sound but it does not start as per normal.

 

sometime i saw the meter needle swipe again after i manage to start. does it mean that is time to change the battery?

 

if so, please recommend me some battery to choose from and what is the price range? is yuasa ytx9-bs good enough?

i think is easy to change the battery on my own? any place to get the battery?

Hi all, new some help regarding my 2012 Revo. Recently my bike was not able to do a hot start meaning after riding for a while and after I switch off the engine and try to start again it wouldn't start. Need to wait around 20 to 30 mins for engine to cool down before can start again.

 

Anyone experience before? What would be the likely causes? Btw my bike is fully stock.

Hi, I just bought a Spec 3 recently. Is it normal for me to burn my right leg (wearing shorts) if I accidentally get too close to the engine when I stop at the traffic light? As in, is it normally this hot?

Yes normally is hot. If you are wearing shorts, your right leg will burn by the engine. I got it a few times when i starting riding super4. after use to it u will know where not to put your leg. =D
