Hi guys, just hit 1000km... what must i do now? I intend to change to BT 039 tires, can some fellow riders here enlighten me with the cost of the tires? at 1000km can i change to fully syn or still stick to mineral oil??

hmmm....cant be the fuse bah....i experienced this before...because one of the signal wire loose connection..then the same think happen...

 

but as for ur case...im nt sure bro...

bring ur servicing booklet out, look at the number inside, and call the agent to make appt for ur servicing. they dont charge for labour during warranty, but they do for oil filter and engine oil. they will also give u semi synthetic engine oil unless u specify otherwise. prices will vary accordingly also. for me, i dont mind the price or "wasting" the oil. I am happier if my engine is cleaner (next servicing at 3k mileage so that means u only use it for another 2k mileage) and doesnt sound like it is squealing.

 

i like fully syn engine oil. semi syn makes my engine noisier (in my own opinion).

 

as for tires, a pair of bt39 would cost u less than $200. Maybe about $160-180 depending on size and who u get from.

go to ah boy kelantan lane BT39 front n rear $140/- if can use BT39 110/17-70 for rear and stick to mineral oil till u hit 3000km than change to fully synthetic.... :angel
