The weather outlook for tonight and tomorrow morning looks good and promising! So quick check...who else is going for the ride? Do sms me your number at 98155287. I will sms you in morning to wake you up if needed :)

You can see it on Google Maps. We will go as long as there are 2 persons riding. I will only attempt this alone during daylight hours because there are many non-traditional roads that we will be riding on. Its about 70km long so we'll meet up at a stretch of petrol stations along Upper Thomson Road and head off from there.

Date: 30 August 2009 (Sunday)

Time: 5am meetup, will have to leave on time to catch sunrise.

With this route, we will catch the sunrise on top of Bt Timah. Note that I've not tried this before so we may not be able to see the sunrise. But will be a fun ride still.

First & Foremost; Thanks Chewbacca for the prata, thanks Scubasimon for the kopi.

Learnt: Mesh jacket is very well ventilated, even moving off in MSCP, I can feel the breeze at my armpits already. Actually padded myself when riding, to check if I've zipped fully, because it was very airy. Riding in the rain, lagi song, really like nothing, shiver and tremble all the way home.

Conclusion: No excuse to not have at least a mesh jacket. Although won't tahan more than one wreck, the protecting armours at strategic areas is better than nothing at all.

Riding in the rain is an experience. If it would stops us, neither Simon nor I, who currently drive as well, would even want to ride at all!

But... cold cold cold....... don't be a hero, put on rain gears if it rains...
