I think like wat the others said they do have in Motoworld Lavender branch too. You can check it out. The last time i saw was that they do have alot of colours but its not the one i have. Will take photo tonite in comparison of the Buff and Oxford.

Yea for m/c use is good.

No problem abt the feedback. But wats a buff visor? care to share?

U can see from this link. It's buff....but with a attached visor..like a cap. Retail price is $45.00. Just found out that Outdoor Life @ Velocity is carrying it. Local distributor also hve it. I'm looking at this as it's seems to be much more practical. Can use for biking or on foot....as it has a visor to shield the eyes.

Oxford Bala....if I'm not wrong, I saw the price at $12.00??

Guys,

Motorworld (kaki Bukit) got 3 types of Oxford Balaclava...

$10..polyester (kinda of thick), $12(Ultra-Thin)..polyestr/viscose (thin,stretchy..easy for FF helmet to slide onto your head, easy to breathe if you cover up to you nose too), $20(Cotton) cooling but thick, comfy too).

I just got mine yesterday evening, $12 one.

Yup, they do, but limited design & qty. If I'm not mistaken the price is $20+. I bought mine at Beach Rd, those shop selling army stuff...pretty much design to choose from.

Be advice.. Buffs has for Male/Female design.

Yea they great so far... hope the elasticity dun wear off too fast.

Only problem is that they are rather short... Have to wear one as neck scarf and another as balaclava in order to cover the neck...

I bought the Oxford Deluxe Balaclava. Been using it for my FF helmet. Its not as warm as I thought it would be, not even during the recent hot spell.

Guess so long your bike keeps moving, you will stay cool. I used the whole setup even under the hot afternoon sun.

On the plus side, my neck and chin area stays dry during light drizzle. You no longer feel the sting from the rain drops splattering onto your neck. The same area also stays clean and grime-free.

Half the time, I rode during silent hours and the balaclava helps to keep the wind chill away.

Bought a total of 03 pcs in total. Rotating them in use-wash-dry cycle.

There is really no odour in my helmet. Not even the chin strap. (The Deluxe version covers all the way down to your V-neckline so the strap does not come into contact with your skin at all.)

Like what a bro says earlier, your helmet smells brand-new.

I used to wash the removable liners and cheek pad for my helmet regularly. But the sweat odour will come back within 2 weeks. The smell from the chin strap gets really distracting at times. The parts also get worn out pretty fast from the constant washing with bleach and detergent.

Using a balacava or buff is a more convenient solution.

Wish I started using them earlier. Could save me a helmet or two.

Goo

I have been using Buff for a while. Previously tried many other type of head liner. You named it, I'll most likely tried it. I think those tube like headliner, eg Buff, is the most verstile of all. You can use it as a normal headliner covering till your ear, or even as a balaclava.

However what I don't like about it is the material. If the material can be like those coolmax style, it will be better. But maybe the material is not that elastic.

By the way, anyone tried this? Komine link? I prefer to have beanie type of headliner but at the same time can cover the cheek and chin strap part. I think this fit the bill as the "dog ear" can be placed at the cheek and chin part?

I'm looking at Buff Visor but it's expensive at SGD45.00. Anyone knows of an equivalent to it at cheaper price?

Got my original buff at mustafa. I got a florencent green/yellow wid 2 silver vertical reflective 3m strips at 29. Cos only got this design at that time. den I dun like, cos like wear green hat....

den I got another 1 when they come in stock. those design type, w/o the 3m strips for 26.

Any1 wans the green hat? om me ur offer. wore abt 1 wk only.

Review for the buff is, comfort, gd breathablity, can fold to thin thin size n keep in pocket. its material is 100% polyester microfibre. thermal rejection plus absorb moisture. it got a anti odour thing which is warrenty for life.

Best thing I like is its seamless. so it feels very gd.

I wear it like a balaclava cos dun like to smell 2t n deisel fumes.

Now if ride sometimes w/o wearin, feels "gao wek".

moi 2cents...

I LOVE my R1!!!:shades:
