can, but it will be heavy.

aprilia and cagiva 125 tyres are same size as my 250..

110/70 150/60

i think for cb400 wud be 120/70 160/60

so yes, u can fit them tyres on them bikes.

scub you better go try out riding posture of those sports bikes before you commit. most uncomfortable type of all the bikes i have tried riding.

http://gadgets.boingboing.net/gimages/lego-cycle-helmet.jpg this is not me! :cheeky:

gee...i wonder if changing the tires on those 2b sports bikes is a good idea. after all, the original design was for the thinner tires...maybe the engine cannot handle the extra friction and weight?

oh yeah, you are right about the posture. i've never ridden a sports bike before so better try out first.

so far 2b ive seen hyosung and daelim got fat tires i guess. but 2b bike without much power, fat tires means lower acceleration and more FC. correct me if im wrong.

i'm sure you are correct there, nelo. i am steering clear of the korean bikes at the moment. i am much inclined to the Japanese makes for this class of motorcycles. looks like the phantom is what makes most sense for now :)

Hmm so from the discussion thus far, Yamaha R125 has thin rear tyre as compared to the Aprilla Rs125 and TA200 and Daelin?

How bout Vara 125? Stock rear tyre size is 130 but can also go to 140.

I want to see the world and i'm pretty sure the world wants to show a little something to me.

Posted

the R125 and R15 tires look thin to me while the RS125 looks ok. Vara 125 tires are not fat but not thin either...I don't mind a Vara but the price is way out there man! That's why I'm not considering the RS125/Mito etc as well.

why dont you wait another year for 2a before upgrading? saves money and you will have more choices with fatter tires.

boring rider. with a boring bike.

too old to want to appear interesting anymore.

Posted

i'm not "upgrading" because i am gonna keep my current bike which i like very much. just looking for a comfortable longer range and faster bike for a different style of riding.

definitely will get 2a but it will be another 322 days before i can take up class 2a course.
